To be done with today's trailers from the Marketplace, here is the one for Fallout 3. Nice looking game for sure. Update: Five minutes long gameplay presentation added.
The game looks fantastic, but the combat left a bad taste in my mouth. It looked very...I don't know...cheap. The shooting especially lacks sense of impact and satisfaction.
Other than that, I'm really digging this game. The atmopshere is great and I seriously need my RPG fix!
i'm really not feeling this game after seeing that presentation. i was expecting the game to look depressing but not to this extreme. so much grey. i just hope it is funner then it looks.
I'm not very impressed. From that short clip of gameplay, all I can say is it looks very, very average. They didn't have much time, but if you know you're only doing a short bit, why not show what makes the game unique, instead of just pulling out a bunch of weapons and blowing people up. I can do that in 1000 other games, I don't need to buy Fallout 3 to make it 1001.
it doesnt look "amazing" or anything, but it does look pretty good. im just happy i can play it like oblivion with guns. rather then using that lame "pause the gameplay" targeting thing.
He says you can be diplomatic, yet he chose the "shooter" approach to dealing with everyone.
I really wonder if you could talk and reason with those guys he blew away. Probably not.

Fallout has gone far from it's roots, hopefully it will be something to love :)
this was in oblivion and is here as well and pisses the hell out of me. Why, when you walk there's no head motion?! Or when you jump, no motion at all. it feels as if the character is floating and sliding, makes it look really cheap. Also, and i think i'm spoiled by GTA's euphoria, don't the characters react when they are shot?! Again, feels cheap.
