Thanks Blim, looks awesome. But did anyone (like me) notice how different the blood looks? Sure, maybe a small detail for you, but it looked darker and cooler in the 1st game in my opinion :-)

I noticed it, but I actually prefer the blood effect in the second one!

Overall, the game looks stunning. This is definitely going to be my GOTY, and i'm sure many others feel the same way.

Overall it looks awesome. You can really see they have improved the graphics over the first game (wich I never thought was that good looking as other said). The first game had alot of ugly details, like the weapons, they looked really looked horrible. But now they looks alot more sharp and good =) Marcus armorlooks better as well.

Give me the darker blood from 1st game and I'm 100% happy with it... or, one thing I miss that actually Killzone 2 have. That fallen enemies still bleeds... looks cool :P

@ Helgon, When you down the characters in gow2 they do bleed and leave a blood trail as they crawl away, also some of the gaming sites mentioned that when marcus get shot he bleeds also and if he's leaning against the wall he leaves blood on the wall when he moves off :)

I thought the blood in the first one was ridiculously silly...it's much better like this.

I can't believe how awesome this level looks! The beginning of this level where you see the skyline on the background and the destruction in front of you...such an amazing sight!

This is just the merge gameplay footage 1 & 2 I think.
But yeah the blood in GOW was black with a red outline, this almost looks reversed - not that it matters though.

Anyone else notice the downgrade in environment detail? Most likely to handle the massive battles and enviroments this time around.

as for the blood, the first one was unrealistic very light redish like, this ones darker and more realistic, much better.

Concerned about the framedrops I noticed during some of the gameplay, hoping that gets fixed.

best thing was when the game crashed and they ran a vid instead.

I thought it was just my stream, but it still looked good
