E3: S.White Snowboarding video

Once again, a developer walkthrough excerpt! This time it'll be Shaun White Snowboarding, the bone breaking simulator from Ubisoft. You'll be able to see some nice slopes, as well as a few orignal camera angles and some quite impressive tricks.

Looks good but I am on the fence with this game. Ireally liked amped and transworld so hopefully this game takes what made those games good and really owns the genre. Hope we get a demo soon.

Yeah looks ok but i really want another SSX title. Anyone else agree with me on that or is there just too much hate for EA these days?

Hm. Another SSX would be nice, but knowing EA, they'll make us pay for boards, clothes, mountains, etc. Seeing how Amped 3 was really disappointing to me, I'm welcoming any new snowboarding game with open arms. The gameplay looked pretty solid and I like the idea of being able to throw snowballs at other players.

Looks great but it seemed from the video that you can't really crash no matter what angle you land the board. I'm not looking for simulated board edge physics but I want to feel as though I earned my landings after a huge jump.
Still a must buy though, this will be a blast on live, think of a bunch of you bombing from the top of a mountain all the way down then whacking each other with snowballs at the bottom.

I don't really have any hate for the "new" EA. They seem to be reformed. Just look at their current AAA Lineup. Mirrors Edge? Dead Space? Hard to believe these come from the same company that is best know for their Madden games.
But even though I even "like" EA now, I don't want another SSX. I loved SSX3 and literally spent hours in free roam, just boarding down from The Throne to the city, relaxing. But SSX On Tour was too much of OMG In Your Face bullshit. But this whole "alone on the mountain" vibe... that was great.
And it seems like this game offers much of this very same feeling. Looking forward to it.

from the looks of things it looks more like amped (bad thing) rather then the awesomeness that is SSX. which is a shame. i guess, considering EA dont seem to want to make another SSX, PURE will have to be my crazy arcade SSX-like fix.
