Page 1 2 >>cut scenes look good...for the wii of course. But ingame just looks terrible...
great game, bit very hard at times.
The cutscenes are obviously prerendered 360 stuff, because they look just the same and I highly doubt the Wii could handle them in realtime.
360 CG Video, are they?
Nintendo chose to put its RnD elsewhere, now whether you agreed with their choice is neither here nor there, but comparing the two is like comparing a frog to a tadpole.
Of course it should be excused, because you shouldn't be comparing them in the first place, I mean seriously !!

Now I ask you, if the motion sensitive controls can be used as an argument for being superior, why can't the same thing be said for advanced graphics and physics? As you've mentioned, Nintendo chose to put it's RnD in controls, and Microsoft did the same for advanced hardware(resulting in better graphics). Both of these decissions should be respected and in turn they should not be excused when comparing (the same) games.
My point is this: If people suggest that Dead Rising will be better on the Wii for it's motion sensitive controls, Microsoft isn't excused for NOT having motion sensitive controls, but when people suggest(like me) that Dead Rising on the 360 is better because of it's superior graphics/physics, Nintendo automatically gets a "get out of jail, free" card for it's inferior graphics. Because if you look at it: Nintendo chose for innovative controls and inferior graphics, and MS chose for superior graphics and traditional controls so if we WANT to compare the different Dead Rising versions we SHOULDN'T excuse any of the companies choices...
Meh whatever, I'm not guna even bother.
LOL fair enough I guess. But you do know that in forums using the "Im not even gonna bother" reply in a condescending way is the equivalent to replying "YOUR MOM" right...?
Ontopic: I guess this is good for all of the wii-owners who couldnt enjoy this great game. Can't wait for the next one.
the wii version is going to be so much better because of its game play that
will feature motion sensitive controls( a new way to play video games).
the wii gives us an unimaginable experience with each game, thanks to its
innovative control.

You should just should just stop making yourself look foolish over pointing out something that was never even questioned (as ofcourse it will look better on a more powerful hardware), and wait to see just how capcom make use of nintendo's unique controls to either add to the gameplay, or mess up the gameplay.
Also, just to pull you up on this little comment as frankly it sounds stupid. The only thing you, and any of us know for sure, is that dead rising has better graphics on the 360.. this does not automatically mean the 360 versions the better game. If Mario galaxy hit the 360 is would look alot better, but do you honestly think it would play better without motion control? no, it would probably lose most of its charm and playability. So which version would be the better game?

It's absolutely cheap to say "comparing control(motion sensing vs traditional) is much fairer game" who the fuck decided THAT universal rule? And of course you don't compare the DS with the 360 because they're not in the same MARKET. You're actually downplaying the wii by saying that it's in another league because it's just as much of a competitor in the console market as Ps3 and 360.
Also... did you or did you not say that Dead rising on the 360 was better because it has superior graphics? It is better visualy (which was never argued) but the better game? This was the only point in your waffling stupidity i picked you up on.. cause frankly its a foolish statement about a game you've only seen a few dodgy screen shots of and have no idea how it plays on the wii.
Now begone with your stupity!
It's unfair that Nintendo gets excused for bad graphics while it gets praised for it's innovative controls while MS doesn't get the same treatment.
Understand that for the wii this isnt bad graphics, you keep comparing the products of different hardware when theres a huge game in the power between that hardware.. which is why i said you wouldnt compare a game on the ds and the same game on the 360 and be surprised one looked better than the other. Dead rising looks to be playing to the wii's strengths, so in terms of that its pretty impressive if they pull it off. The 360 doesnt get the same treatment if a game has bad graphics but innovative controls (although which games on the 360 even relate to that?) because so much more is expected of the 360 visually, and a game coming to it looking like the screen shots above we would all know wasnt playing to the 360's strengths.
You can go now, as i'm bored with you.
