Xbox 360 PS3 Wii

Eidos released this Behind the Scene video of Tomb Raider: Underworld where the lead developers of the game explain their team's contribution to the game. And we even get to see some much too short footage of the game in-between.

Wow... just, WOW!

I think it looks amazing! Even though the gameplay is too short and fast to make proper conclusions about the graphics, the atmosphere these short glimps provide just nail my current gen tomb raider imagination ..!

Doesn't it seem like she moves too fast? At least compared to the last game where she moved almost in slow motion. It kinda feels like things have been sped up.

i've hated every single swimming and motorbike section in EVERY tombraider game, and i've played them all.

why must they be obsessed with putting swimming and the damn friggin motorbike in the game...? if something hasnt worked so many times before, then just get rid of it!!!>:(

although i must admit, this tombraider game is looking verrrry nice :)

if i had it my way though, there wud be no swimming (well, there wud be swimming, but not in bits where u get lost, run out of air, load up your save then repeat cos thats just not fun) no motorbike or any vehical for tht matter. i would even get rid of all other guns other then pistols and get rid of all human bad guys. just have lots of animals and curses and boulders chasing you and spike pits and puzzels :)

Lara looks ultra hot. I just wish they didn't cast Angelina Jolie as her in the movies. Kinda ruined my impression of her (not a huge fan of the actress). Karima Adebibe, on the other hand...

first of all: SOLD! :)

but i agree that the vehicle parts of most TR games SUCKED :(
especially those "chases" (pointless, boring, driving on rails - shooting gallery)
the parts where you had to drive a quad through caves or a cayak (sp?) through whitewater rapids i found to be somewhat fun.

Guess what i like the most about the TR games? RAIDING TOMBS! ;)
i could very well live WITHOUT all the boring shootouts and chases. A Boss from time to time - FINE. But not hordes of "enemies" -> borefest!

For me it`s all about "acrobatic moves to solve puzzles and advance".
Nevertheless... i will buy this one regardless :) As i did every TR game to date.

I hate videos like this where it's all talk and hype.

That said, the game looked pretty good.

I agree.
And i guess they have thrown away the "run out of air" thing...at least, so they say in an interview.
@Vehicle:in Legend they was lame, agree, but used for exploration, they wouldn't be that bad. i guess.

I totally agree with all of your points, I just need to add one more:
4: big, detailed and exotic looking environments!

Bytheway, where should I find that talked about trailer, that would debute in the evening yesterday? Are you guys sure they did not just mean this video??

Edit: nevermind my question, I found it.. nice trailer, only I hoped to see gameplay, though.. :(

I'd recommend playing Legend first, this is a direct sequel.
Plus, it was a really great game.
