Conquest in BF: Bad Company

EA and DICE are finally ready to release the Conquest mode to the Battlefield: Bad Company community, being available on thursday. This is the classic mode being used in previous BF games, and I will certainly start playing Bad Company again for this fantastic mode.

On August 7th, Battlefield: Bad Company™ players worldwide will get to experience the intense rush as they tackle online play in a whole new way with Conquest mode that will be released as a free download for the PLAYSTATION®3 and Xbox 360™.
Made famous by Battlefield 1942™, Conquest mode pits players against each other in a fast paced battle to eliminate the opposing team’s tickets. Players deplete their opponent’s tickets by one point per kill and can cause their opponents tickets to spiral downwards by capturing control points. Four maps that are currently available for online play in Gold Rush mode will be available to conquer with Conquest mode.

so looking forward to this, i think all the time they have put into this will be worth it folks,i mean they redone all the levels so that it fits in with the game mode,

Oh hell yes the best just got even better, i really hope they keep adding more things to the game like more maps or weapons. If they do i'll never stop playing this ;)

Why would the mode effect the graphics?
And hurray! I've been looking forward to this as a replacement to Gold Rush, which got really repetitive imo

Gold rush is an amazing new mode and a gush of fresh air. I'm not so sure i'm gonna touch the conquest. i like the more front line focused gameplay of gold rush, and the sense of a real battle developing (attackers invading the centre of city!), whereas sometimes in conquest you frequently saw people running back and forth between flags, with no sense of strategy.
But i do agree with you thought, chain of command would have been perfect

From the Bad Company beta, well, I didn't really care for it or Gold Rush. But I can see how some people might like it. I think I might go back to BF2 for a while after the new map(s)/patch comes out, but til then, I'm taking a little vacation from FPS for fighters. I'll be back though, I always come back to FPS.
Hell, I'll probably go back to COD4 before that.. but yeah.. I want more BF! Bring on BF3!

I love the feel and the looks of the game.. but the bugs -_-. If you compare the bfbc website with the forums, you don't understand how they are able to say the following on the front page:
"Over the last couple of months we have seen an enormous number of players enjoying the Beta, the Demo and finally the full release of Battlefield: Bad Company."
The demo is as buggy as the full game.
