I dont understand why they won awards for the graphics, or the game it self (cod4). I actually think that the gamemakers had bribed several gaming magazines and websites.. lol
Uh, no, it was because the game was actually amazing. No bribes were needed. At all.

Not a sausage.

I'm glad co-op gets so much attention lately.. It should be in every good FPS game imho..

Treyarch again... didn't they learn anything from the debacle that was CoD3? Infinity Ward all the way...

They learned that it sold a crapload of copies. For Activision, more Call of Duty means more money.. so what do you expect?

There are some games that don't welcome co-op, just because of their design, but generally speaking I think you're dead right. Co-op > solo.

It looks alright i guess. altough it's going to be more of the same: destroy this flak...advance here, destroy that gun ammo depot...tension...enemy tank...find rpg...destroy....zzzzZZZ

and guess what, it's gonna sell :)

but with the coop, might be alright to play with a friend.

(ps: glad to see they have at least the same mocap enemy deaths from CoD4, unlike the silly BF:Bad Company rag dolls-------)

True, but offcourse I meant the games that are suited for it.. Most general FPS games are imho.. Only tricky part I think is how do you keep both players on track and near eachother for triggering of scripted events that are crucial for the story etc..

Because this gen online is taking over. So when it happens it's made painfully obvious that it's in the game
Still not a fan of this only being possible on two separate 360's though

[...]Bad Company lets you destroy what they want, always in the same boring way.
man, you always have to find something negative to say about the most random things. What you just said doesn't even make sense. You throw a grenade, it explodes, the walls collapse. How's that boring? What would you like to see, rabits and flowers coming out of the explosion, as so to make it less boring?

Also, would you expect everything to be destroyable? The game, with it's present gameplay, would be unplayable.

looks decent... but I HATE THE ARMS for your character their stiff and lifeless i truely hate that..
I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed this. It annoys the piss out of me to. I like to emote to my character, and when their arms are held like that, all I can think of is "ow, cramp!"

If I play it enough I can get over it (like the way MC held the BR in Halo 2), but its still annoying.

Flamethrowers are cool though.

well
it could b that they r not done developing the game and that's how the player's arms are. Or, you can see the other people's arms. Maybe according the the mission, your stance is different. For example, this is a "recon", "silent" mission. Everybody is stiff, and and on the lookout. The arms should b fine i think.

I hope that this game turns out well cause the pacific theater is an absolutely awesome setting for a call of duty game or any other ww2 first person shooter and it is barely used in ww2 games as far as i know.

But the execution must be of great quality if a pacific theater ww2 game would be anything to have. I havent played call of duty 3 yet and it looks like a decent if not great game but treyarch arent as talented as infinty ward.

And whats up with the graphics? I was so glad when they said they were going to do a ww2 themed call of duty with the splendid cod4 engine but the screenshots of this game look pretty poor compared to cod4s graphics.
