EA releases some new images of NBA Live 09. Visually, it looks really great and solid. And the ball is particularly well textured...

You have to give it to EA, 99% of their next-gen titles have been fantastic graphics wise. I'm not a basketball fan though.

cause if you see the other picture, there's stoudemire in it. so my guess is that it's the name of the player playing for the grizzlies, Rudy Gay...

That's Rudy Gay of the Memphis Grizzles, he plays the SF position and is quite good.
The graphics might look good, but the gameplay will be horrid. I'll stick to 2K9.

I think it looks nice but I can't play basketball games. They just aren't that fun to me and that is why I stick to Madden. I would rather kill someone than dunk on them, who else agrees?

Why is the embedded video changed so that you cannot just load the whole video and watch it when it's done? The current buffering system just blows compared to that. :/
Changing this makes my 1mbit connection weep. Can't really use embedded anymore. So I quit watching the videos all together and watched them someplace else....

I have just seen the video and woah, at first glance I didn't realiza it was a game, I thought it was real. The animation is very very fluid IMO, looks real. 5n close ups you notice it is a game, but the perspective chosen to show the match makes it looks almost real. Very good job in that department.
