Wow the visuals on the character looks amazing!
And I got alot of Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit) feel from the button sequence.
If the story holds up and has its alot of twist and turns and good gameplay this could be just as good.

Can't wait for this. Game looks great and being story-driven is another plus.

What the hell happened to the lip syncing?? quicktime events are cool if used in moderation, i hope theres plenty of good old fashion mele combat, i'm interested to find out more about this title, i hope it turns out to be more than just a Silent Hill clone.

Lip syncing? My guess is it was synced for another country, maybe German, but they dubbed it with English for the convention.

Looks like nothing but a QTE fest and if its as boring as Indigo Prophecy, I'll pass.

You really need to play Indigo Prophecy, Heavy Rain will likely not have any weapon at all, it isn't a game where X = attack.

You honestly cannot compare it to any other game, Silent Hill for instance uses melee too.

Think about it, when in real life are you presented with large scale puzzles and ammo lying around? Heavy rain and Indigo Prophecy take real to a very high level. One of the only games where you actually fell like a human.

Well if you didn't like Indigo Prophecy I guarantee you will have issues with heavy rain.

Graphically it looks great. Not as impressed as I was by the trailer two years ago- but still impressed.

But it looks like Silent Hill meets Parappa the Rappa. So... visually interested- but I think I'll pass on the 'game' itself.

Well graphics are a mixed bag IMO.

The main characters face is very good, but the other models outside didn't look to have the same detail, there animations weren't very good either.

I kind of like QTE based games, but the QTE above just looked terrible, I mean fighting on a toilet :S

Looks stunning!!!! but i have one, rather big problem. I HATE QTEs and this seems to be using them a LOT!

Holy crap! This is one of the main things I was looking forward to from Leipzig and it does not disappoint!

they only worked on the character..and even the rain drops on her face are a skin animation and not physx from the rain..wich is a bit stupid sometimes..its raining like hell and she only has a few drops on her face..and like someone said above the other models other than the main char look really..I don't know what to call it..the tree wich appear in the begining is a bit..wtf? it doesn't have the same colour or whatever..seems like the body of the tree is diferent from the rest of it..the rest feels like plastic..but oh well when the game is sh** they have to polish the main character so the fanboys stay looking at it and say omg I'M A GRAPHIC WHORE! and don't pay attetion to the game itself..just like they did to crysis.

I don't understand why you guys are so surprised with QTE in this game?
These guys made Indigo Prophecy were the entire game had QTE, they abused it like no other game out there.

Like I said before, if they have QTEs in it I am fine with it, just don't make them crazy like they did with Indigo Prophecy.

If the story is just as good as their last game this is gonna be very good title for sure.

It looks compelling. But is it only a QTE-interactive game mixed with some puzzle solving? In other words a movie where you have to press a certain button at a specific time? Can you call that a game?
Does anyone have more information on what the gameplay will be like besides the QTE's?
