The second shot looks nice. The grass has a a nice feel and color and the club looks solid.

I'm not into golf whatsoever, but those screens are nice. Much improved over what they had a couple months back.

I have the paid for along with NBA2K6... I cannot wait to load it on the X-Box 360 on my 27" Sony HD-TV on November 22nd.

Only some of the trees really let it down, and Tiger has dead eyes.

Other than that it is very nice indeed, a large improvement over last gen.

Only thing that stinks is it only has 6 courses. How can a game that boasted more than twice that amount on the xbox not have the same or even more on a much more powerful system? Maybe EA is going to make us pay for more courses on xbox live.

Looks sweet, another title I want. Just hope all this talk about 50,000 units for the UK isn't true else I'm pretty much doomed. :(

you just explained the exact reason I am probably NOT going to get this game. This was, initially, my most anticipated xbox360 game at release, as I'm a huge tiger woods fan, and a real golf fan as well. However, after learning that there will only be 6 courses, I am very reluctant to see if I will be purchasing this or not.

And i'm sure they will be Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, TPC at Sawgrass, Bay Country (or whatever its called), The Predator, and all the normal courses we have seen since Tiger Woods 2004. I just have a feeling it will be the same courses we've seen for like 3 years now.

On top of that, there are only 10 PGA golfers from what I've heard. Granted, the create a character is definitely much more fun, but still ... 10 golfers?

Also, apparently, this game is going to play just like Tiger Woods 2004, w/no Legends mode or anything like that. Just a "season" mode, some match play mode, and the little side games to try and get %100.

I dunno. This game definitely isn't going to be picked up by me on launch anymore because of the reasons above. It looks beautiful though. However, just like all the other EA sports games this year, this game is really only half complete. The 07' season we'll see much better EA games.

all i know is the 2005 was a good game, so in its footsteps this should be along the same lines :0

All of EA's launch titles are rushed. They've all had 6 months of development time, and they all show it.

I don't understand why EA continually is a step behind. It's probably because they rush out their games to the casual market just to milk it. I'm sick of the low graphical quality standard especially. Not that these are TERRIBLE by any means, but why can't they use more bump-mapping type of effects and way better textures for grass? The grass in Madden looks worse than NFL Fever on Xbox 1. lol. I'm not an EA fan in the slightest. After I saw what they did with the Medal of Honor franchise as well, it totally disgusted me.

your a moron. if you have read ea's latest press release(review) on madden, you would see how they have a new build(probaly final). they have fixed the grass, the lighting, and much more. he was really steressing the new lighting that has just been implemented. theres a big article along wth screen shots on one of the major gaming site...cant remeber. every other screenshot youve seen to date is an early/old build of the game. the grass in the new build looks amazing. haters like you are going to eat your words when you go over your buddies house and play madden. I WISH PEOPLE WOULD STOP JUDGING THESE GAMES BEFORE THEY COME OUT!!!!!!!!!!

Umm seems you are the "moron" defending EA for rehashing the same mediocre crap year after year after year. If you can name a GOOD EA game that is not a rehash of past game(s) then I might take your opinion more seriously. And no a game EA PUBLISHES does not count.

Funny how they charge more than other companies for their games yet people buy it in droves for no reason when its the same thing with a new year tacked onto it. Now with 360 they can raise the price even more and rabid casual fanboys will eat it up.

You are part of the reason good original games get tossed to the side while Madden stays at the top of the charts. Not to mention you're probably one of the people that thinks advertising in games makes it more realistic. So you can have fun enjoying your whored out ad filled rehash crap. And I will go play something fresh and original from a company that doesn't just buy out their competitors or get exclusives because their products are inferior and they are too scared to have competition.

I'm on the fence between this and Madden. I totally agree about EA and their subpar efforts from year to year. They used to pwn all back in the early - mid nineties, but have put out alot of crap over the past 10 years.

Tiger is ALWAYS WAYYYY TOO EASY, but I've been jonesing for a golf game for a while and it's the only option for the 360. Links was a FAR superior game to any of the Tiger Woods series. I can't wait for Links 2006.

Madden is the same crap year after year, too bad abou the deal because NFL 2K6 would've been sweet on 360. :(
