Sony and Insomniac released these 6 new images of Resistance, finally showing some more humans and new enviroments. There is no doubt now that this will be one of the big launch title for the PS3 this November.

Surely it's realtime ingame footage, but, like mostly sony games screenshots pr, probably was taken from a dev station running at unknown fps. My guess: like mostly sony games, final product will not look like this.
Those look great. That one pic with the monster running towards the screen is amazing. I don't know how anyone can honestly say those aren't impressive. Especially when they still have about 2 more months of polish to add to it.
I think with the supposed power of the PS3 should warrant a little more polish than just this. Where is the HDR? The AA is nice, but this isn't the highest resolution I've ever seen. The graphics are kinda washed out in these shots.
Anyway I think it looks great, theres a new video on Youtube and it looks great, but it is youtube so don't expect to get anything technical from it. The action certainly seems intense though.
And yes this is all real-time. I think this will be the best launch title.

I disagree. The ONLY draw I can see about this game is the 40 player multiplayer, and even that isn't such a huge deal when nothing else about the game grabs my attention at all. It's kind of like Killzone, with a more "lame" theme and aliens. I'm excited about Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword, Lair and quite a few other PS3 launch titles, but this is not one I'll be even bothering about.
And you know, honestly, if this were on the 360 you'd see "Oh Xbox 1.5" all over the place too. This game is definitely NOT impressive graphically in any way outside of the high AA.

Why are people still bummed by the graphics of PS3 games, what did you expect. Sure the PS3 has a lot of power: a lot of CPU power. Graphics wise it's nothing special, just an slightly modified 7900 gt under the hood, doesn't even have any DX 10 features. So if people still don't understand why these PS3 games look crappy'er then Xbox 360 games: DAH! The Xbox 360 has more graphics power! Anyway's until recently i really wanted the PS3, also because of Blu-Ray movies. But i already have a Xbox 360 and i'm really starting to doubt the sense of buying a PS3 at launch...
Why would you expect the PS3 to have Dx10 capabilities, only PC's have that. Stop flaming and spouting nonsense. And no one knows the true specs of the RSX, they're a secret for the time being so shut it.
The RSX is a Nvidia gpu and has the exact same specs as a Geforce 7900 series chip, even the number of transistors is the same so you do the math. And why it does matter that the RSX has no DX10 features is because the Xbox 360 gpu at least has some of them. Don't get me wrong graphics aren't everything, and the graphics differents between PS3 and Xbox 360 will be pretty small, way smaller than Ps2 and Xbox. And personally i think the Ps2 was by far the better console of the two. But the thing is this time around everything is different, PS3 is coming out nearly a year later then Xbox 360, while being weaker graphics wise wich i think is just a big miss from Sony. They wanted the most powerfull machine so they should have completed the package.

It's just you come off as such an ignorant troll, I just had to say something. There is a $500 PS3 which is actually the better buy and no one knows the price of PS3 games yet.
Sorry if i sounded ignorant, but it just that iv'e been in these kind of arguments so many times in other forums. I'm not dissing Sony and for the record that 4D crap is from Sony. But the reason i might sound a bit anti-PS3 is because i'm dissapointed in the machine. I mean it's supposed to be the most powerfull machine, and the cpu is indeed a impressive piece of work but graphics wise it doesn't at up. Anyway's sorry that i got a bit carried away. All i wanted to say is people should stop being dissapointed in the PS3 games graphicswise and stop thinking that it should look better then Xbox 360, cause it should. I'm still going to buy the PS3 when all the great titels are out, like MGS4 and Vision Gran Turimso, and those games probably will look stunning. No reason for me to buy the PS3 end of this year, cause there's enough goodie coming out for 360.

Anyway, genre wise I wouldn't be excited by this game if it weren't for the awesome swarm bullets demonstration (that none of the naysayers have even seen, I wager) and the fact that it's made by Insomniac (makers of Ratchet & Clank, which none of the naysayers have played, I wager).
The WW2 imagery is stale, but the gameplay quirks and sci fi themes help. It officially has my attention.

I think he was being facetious, but he's got a point. This comes from Insomniac, the makers of the beautiful Ratchet & Clank games AND that incredible tech demo from E3, and we get something that looks like this? If this isn't an uninspired game I sure as hell don't know what is.
