In motion, this is the best looking shooter out there. The animation, the explosions, really intense stuff.
But I think, If you put there GOW2 textures... the framerate goes down XDD, they prefer smooth gameplay (That´s what I think)
PD: I don´t like the explosions. Somebody remember Explosions in Lost Planet? You know what I´m talking about

really captured the essense of how multiplayer online can be
awesome
Games like killzone, halo, gears of war..they are all about multiplayer
sure story mode is important, but personally it is the multiplayer that people will be playing for longevity of the game, looks good so far, if this is the sign of how killzone multiplayer is, then it is going to be one sweet ass game
as for killzone 2. i've said it before and i'll say it again. the only FPS im REALLY excited for. it may be cod4.5 with shinier graphics. but i LOVE cod4 so i cant really complain.
The latest Gamersyde Diary hasn't been too comforting either, though I think you described the problem almost all FPS's have. Linear and nothing now or exciting. But that doesn't mean it can't be a hell of a ride and for that, to me, two things are very important:
1) The gameplay/controls must feel good.
2) diversity of (INTERESTING) environments.
So far, Killzone 2 has shown boring, repetitive environments and if that doesn't change, I definitely won't get this game. In that regard they can learn a thing or two from the devs of Star Wars TFU. Gameplay isn't mindblowing, but the journey from one fantastic environment to the other really lifts that experience.
Edit: Forgot about MP though. If that turns out the be better than COD4, It will be a must buy. :)
The faked online chatting was so freakin' cheesy, it let me hungry for a cheeseburga.
same here , nobody plays online like that.
this game is basically a prettier version of CoD4 to me. and thats by no means a bad thing. it looks just as instense and exciting, if not more so. and if the whole game can keep this awesome pacing im definately buying it.
the promised co-op, multiplayer vehicles and bots just makes the deal all the more sweeter. it may not innovate, but then i cant think of a FPS that has in the past 5 years, as long as its a solid experience tho that shouldnt matter.
but i agree, kinda sick of seeing this level over and over. but then i dont want the rest of the game spoiled either. so its a lose lose situation for me. maybe they should show off that original lighting stage again.
