Looking forward to this game, but I do wish they would show some different environments. We've been seeing the same area for months now.

Cool art and all, but the combat seems to be bad...one enemy at a time, no other weapons available :S
I really wanted the "next-gen" Prince of Persia game to be good, but the combat seems to be bad, I will wait more for combat footages.
But so far it's dissapointing, but the rest is cool though (except the american accent).

But, they need the goddamn difficulty to be equal to the old ones >.< the acrobatics aren't all that great looking, their focusing too much on the combat. Oh well I guess I'll just have to go and buy th original games, which I didn't play fully.

Did you read your post? You seemed to just repeat the same opinion 3 times ;)
I think the combat has a lot of potential. There's still so much that we don't know about the game. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

really looking forward to this. I do hope they work on a few things before release though.. such as the lack of facial animation on the price who seems pretty void of expression, and ofcourse his terrible american accent, which seems to be full of cheesy little quips, but i have a feeling thats here to stay.
I also really hope theres a large varity of enemys to battle, because if every fight is going to be epic, and as time consuming, as they sound then the last thing you'll want to do is face 5 of the same enemys in a row.

Oh...ouch. They just brought in my #1 most hated feature in games EVER: collecting shit. I hope this doesn't bog down the whole game, making you go around searching for stuff to get upgrades and so forth.

Where is that classic prince who used to let the player imaginate also. After Sands Of Time(which was great) this series became quite out of hand. It made a great adventure game but not quite a Jordan Mechnar's Prince Of Persia game. This new game is also not the same classic. It looks like it is in the hands of American Soap Opera people.

Sands of time was a great game. Really one of the best of the last gen i think. It had a nice story with nice characters, gorgeous environments (i really love Raphael Lacoste) and some pretty solid gameplay. It was fun all the way. Warrior within had improved gameplay and i really like the environments in that game too, but the characters and music were terrible...i don't understand who they were trying to appease with the shitty rock music and the crap oneliners. Third part was just a step backwards in all directions imo, except for maybe the music. It wasn't really bad but it was far from great. This though? I WILL play it but i feel a bit of skepticism towards it as the series hasn't exactly been progressing in the right direction so far, in my opinion. And the "light seed" collection doesn't exactly rub me the right way, as stated above.

looks great
got a feeling this game might evolve the way action-adventure games would be for the future.
not just in story telling but especially gameplay wise.. really like alika's role in the game and the cinematic fights, did you see the way the prince just smirked, lol nice touch
