Wow!! Thanks to gamersyde im really pumped for this game. Awesome trailer! On another note, is the direct download off server #5 broken because im never able to get any videos off there and it used to be the fastest server for me.
been following this game since it was announced and I am glad it's getting AAA scores! omg and that trailer that was fukn rad! I think I even came a lil! I'm gona have to go grab a copy for ps3 from gamestop today! I hope they have it!

I'm not sure, but more and more developers have been doing this, even with PC exclusives.. so chances are it probably will. This game doesn't come out until Halloween for PC (the original console release date, before being pushed up), so you might have to wait a few days before we find out for sure.
I think the game looks like it will play just fine w/ the mouse and keyboard though. That's how I'll be playing it.

I sure hope so. Its kind of hard to play with mouse and keyboard on the couch. I don't mind the 360 controller. I can wait till it comes out for the PC for the improved visuals.

Yup. I'm looking forward to it. FEAR 2 was originally going to ship on halloween too but it got pushed back to February :(

No real complaints, other than it being held back by the PS3 in the graphics department. You can tell sometimes with the low-rez bitmaps (PS3's limited video ram, as we all know), but the lighting and atmosphere more than make-up for it. It's a shame they didn't want to pay the team to make the best version on 360 and then dumb that one down to run on PS3. So instead, they took the cheaper route and just made one version which they knew would be dumbed down enough already to run on PS3 from the start. Smart business, but bad for us true gamers. Funny how the PS3 fanboys think a move like this means it's because they finally "realized" PS3 was the better system, loololollolo!
@Bugmenot - Did it ever occur to you that the graphics are the way they are (i.e. with slightly compromised textures) to maintain a steady framerate without any slowdown or screen tearing? ;)
Most multiformat games in my experience (I own both the 360 and PS3) either look and run ever-so-slightly better on the 360 (e.g. with most EA Sports games) or almost exactly the same (e.g. Pure). I've not seen any 360 game that is significantly better than the PS3 version nor vice versa. So if Dead Space looks the same on both formats then I'd say that's because the PS3 version is up to scratch not because the 360 version was held back by the limitations of the PS3! LOL
