Its not bad looking, but you can see where its roots are.
Looks like an old polished game, with improved textures, but the same sharp-edged geometry. Game would need some more polys.

Im not interested in it. I played the original.

I really like the Riddick franchise, and this looks great.
However, I want to see more gameplay footage from it.

But this trailer made me excited for the game, hopefully it will stay that way :)

Looks great iven if you can see it´s roots. The original was GREAT, on of the best looking Xbox games, and this version ads around 10 plus hours of gameplay, so, I´m not loosing it. First day to me, must buy.

Def day one buy, loved the first and this looks to be more of the same with enhanced graphics and a more cinematic flare, win win for me.

Regardless if traces of the original can be seen in this or not, be it the Doom 3 style models (obviously a lot better than those) and normal mapping, you can clearly see the vast improvement that some post processing effects, vastly improved dynamic lighting, and much better and even more cinematic 1st person death animation sequences, not to mention AI improvements and possibly physics also, all add up to be worthy of buying for alone if you loved the original, because the original IMO was one of the most innovative FPS's ever on a console. Next to Goldeneye, it's been the best film tie-in there's ever been. This game will be an amazing experience for those who have not played the original game. Put it on your must have list.

Best of the Best of the Best Riddick is a remake so is very good

I hope the PS3 version doesn't suck like The Darkness did. With Darkness, the PS3 version was missing effects, anti-aliasing, and running at a lower resolution than the 360 version.

One of the very sparse moments I'm actually thrilled to see Vin Diesel (nothing against the guy, just think he stinks hard as an actor)!

Looks much better than I was anticipating, nothing revolutionary..but damn fine indeed! Hopefully this will restore my faith in Starbreeze studios after their previous horrible attempt. This obviously can't go wrong if they maintain the good ole formula and add some spice to it!

Also, I was expecting just a remake with a level or 2 as a bonus. Apparently I was wrong...awesome! :)

Just saw the trailer, and it looks OUT-freaking-standing.

You want to talk about cinematic games; this looks to take the cake in terms of one of the most well-produced, cinematic presentations ever, if this trailer is any indication. Just as the original Riddick set the bar a couple years back on the Xbox.

The original is still one of the best games I've ever played. Can't wait to go through it again with improved graphics and gameplay.

I had a great time with the original. I'm looking forward to this one.

looks interesting, but it seems they couldn`t decide if they wanted a realistic look or a cartoony look. the surfaces look too "plasticky", similar to doom3.
anyhow, i loved the original, so this should be great ^_^

Wow played original many times! One of Xbox finest. Can't wait for this one!
