That stealth armour in the second pic is all kinds of awesome !

Im clocked in about 45h at the moment and found around 122 locations, and done almost all the side quests. I think ill wait for this to come out before i finish up the main quest line.

How exactly do these items transfer over to your normal character? Doesn't this DLC take place in a simulation?

In the interview they basically said that this is a quest you will take in the main game, as a side quest. Didn't they?

Also, gotta love them snowy mountains and clear blue skies. Nice to see Bethesda really putting effort in to these DLC's. I bet they learned their lesson with that Horse Armour ;)

I bet they have some fabricator thing or something next to the simulator and whatever you get in the sim carries over into reality via it ;)

That might be..OR...after you finish the simulation you gain acces to a storage room full of goodies from the simulation...nah, i like te Fabricator idea better. Anyways, can't wait to get my sweaty hair-free hands on this.

So the original game is yellow, and this DLC is blue, what next, green pre-nuclear war prologue? Lol shit i think i might be on to something :P
Its just too bad they couldnt, you know, make the ORIGINAL game have diverse enviroments like this snowy stuff too.. Seriously why does everything have to be yellow?

Still a cool game though..
pez_Q LOL WHUT? Sweaty hair-free hands? Um, cool i guess O_o

I get your point Baleur, the game has somewhat "limited" colour paletta sure, but imo, it works well within the context of the game. Granted, i don't really know what a post-apocalyptic world would look like, but i bet it just might be...pretty yellow.

*SPOILERS there are some places in the game that aren't Yellow: You might want to look up a little place in the Northern area called The Oasis." END OF SPOILER*

But it's nice that we get to see some other than YELLOW areas and places in the DLC rather than just the same old same old. So better late than never i say.

Off-topic: Tarja looks really nice in that pic btw.

The yellow/brown works great in fallout, the world is supposed to be a destroyed wasteland. Sure some snow might have been nice but then again the wastes aren't the whole world, it's just a small portion of it. It'd be silly to be in a snow covered mountain landscape then, a 5 minutes walk away, back in the scorching wastes :P

Shadow Moses anyone? BTW, the GECK mod tools for the PC version is out, so maybe a MGS mod isn't entirely out of the question!

What's up?
  • GeRaLTo
GeRaLTo @Baleur: 80% of reviews are written by "drones" .Ign, eurogamer, teamxbox, gamespot etc are nothing but companies. Who cares 'bout theirs "reviews" anyway (1 Hour ago)
  • Baleur
Baleur Why are you discussing reviews anyway? When have reviews ever mattered? They are just individual people writing about their individual opinions. Might as well read reviews on music too then, lol XD (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX pfft text! we only care for numbers (4 Hours ago)
  • blmbox
blmbox Yeah, but judging by the content of both reviews, Eurogamer didn't particularly care much for the game anyway. They probably only gave it an 8 to avoid controversy - the review sounded more like a 6. (8 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 6 to 8 split on Eurogamer, which isn't quite as large but still pretty significant. (9 Hours ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Yeah sure, but from what console reviews are saying it's perfectly adequate. I mean I'm sure PC is the way to go, but I sincerely doubt we're seeing a 5 to 9 split score wise or anything. (10 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX not that the Xbox version is "that bad" by most accounts either.. there are plenty of people here playing it who adore it.. but the PC game is recieving higher marks across the board (10 Hours ago)
