Microsoft and Rare has revealed some new information and images for Banjo-Tooie through their blog. The game is due to hit Xbox Live Arcade in April and 4J studios is handling it, who also did the Banjo-Kazooie port last year.
I played Kazooie on N64 and really enjoyed it; however, when Tooie was released, I had the feeling it was too different from the first game and did not want to be disappointed. Is it worth it / as good as Kazooie?
Thank you, I guess I will get it - maybe together with Kazooie, eventhough I still have the original - when I get my xbox360 back (a falcon chip model - got a rrod a few days ago :( )
I absolutely loved Banjo Kazooie on the N64, yet playing it recently on XBL kinda gave the impression it doesn't age too well. It was good for the nostalgia injection but the gameplay was lacking somewhat. I've never played Tooie before so I'm hoping it'll feel a lot more fresh than the first did.
Tooie was a great game, I put more hours playing that then I did playing Kazooie, there were a lot of changes, but I don't ever recall feeling like they were ever bad ones, I loved it so much more than the original and that was near impossible to beat. So you shouldn't be disappointed =)
I only bought Tooie on N64, because I really enjoyed completing the first, but couldn't really get into Tooie, because of how much bigger it was and the N64 being on its way out didn't help... I'll give it another chance though, it really needed this HD boost in draw distance and it will be really interesting if its multiplayer is online, plus we know it will unlock stuff in Nuts&Bolts.
Also, I'd really like an extension for the Tediz VS Squirrels multiplayer that XBOX started, I always wanted DLC for that game... a new one could 1up Warhawk. really.
i wanna buy the banjo arcade games but my puny 20gb hard drive cant hold anything... it can barely hold all my games even with more that 3/4 of them deleted
