Square-Enix FINALLY released a new trailer of Final Fantasy XIII, announcing the demo to be bundled with the new version of the Advent Children movie. And what a trailer it is!
Update 2: It looks like every site out there has posted the video last night, so it should be safe to have it here too. I've captured the Xbox Marketplace trailer, with subtitles.

Commented on 2009-01-28 20:38:03I don't see how people can still be confused between what is and is not CG, it's like night and day still and will be for a few generations to come. The models look good but the environments are the easy giveaway with flat geometry and simple textures.
The game looks good, but not THAT good.
Commented on 2009-01-28 20:53:57 In reply to Megidoand i agree, the game doesn't looks all that great, killzone 2 pwns this imo. but that's what you get when you want to go multiplatform(lots of cutbacks). hopefully versus remains exclusive and we'll see if it makes a difference.
my hype for this game just hit an all time low. if SE screw up this game, i don't think they'll ever be able to recover.
Commented on 2009-01-28 20:54:10It's fairly easy to tell the difference between CG and real time in this case because Square's CG is so high quality. There's a lot of games that may or may not have a mix of CG and there's literally noone that can tell. DMC4 - all real time cutscenes, but you couldn't tell if not for the zoom feature. MGS4 - mostly real time cutscenes, a few prerendered using game assets. Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan / 3 - there are a lot of cutscenes that may be one way or another, noone but Sega really knows.
