Capcom today announced that Bionic Commando will be released on the 19th of May in the US, and hopefully it'll reach Europe the same week. Asian site GameWatch put online these two images of it, while a new trailer can be found on the official Japanese site (click "Play" on the far left one). Hopefully Capcom will send out a 720p version soon.
Capcom press release:
Capcom is pleased to confirm that Bionic Commando will swing into retail across PAL territories on May 22 nd for both Xbox 360 & PS3.
Reloaded for the latest generation of hardware, Bionic Commando sees the return of the ultimate fusion of man and machine who became a firm favourite with gamers around the world some 20 years ago with the release of the 8-bit original on the NES. Bionic Commando features Nathan Spencer as a government operative who, after distinguishing himself in a fierce conflict against the Imperials, is betrayed and falsely imprisoned by the very people he unquestioningly served. However, when bio terrorists detonate an experimental device over Ascension City and then occupy it, there is only one option open to the authorities – reactivate Nathan Spencer.
The PC version of Bionic Commando is due to ship shortly after the console release
I wonder if they have managed to customize the control scheme in a way that it feels intuitive. I remember seeing videos of people trying the demo being showed at some game conference, and completely didn't know what to do, while some developper was trying to explain how it worked. But it was water under the bridge ;o)
It does look good though.

@dingleberry doesn't matter, if you score with both shots and defend successfully all game it's still a win. Shouldn't have been 6-2 to Liverpool as shots mean nothing if they don't go in. (4 Hours ago)

Birmignham 2 shots on goal, 11 men behind the ball. Should have been about 6 - 2 to Liverpool. Rafa's going nowhere. (5 Hours ago)

@blmbox: Keep Rafa At Pool. Love him talking bollocks. Also refs are having too much influence on results, we need video refs ASAP, the time "lost" would be less than player protests now! (6 Hours ago)

I've got to say, it's funny to see Liverpool resorting to cheating in order to pick up a point against one of the league's lesser sides. Surely Rafa's days are numbered? (6 Hours ago)
