Xbox 360

Offset Software released a new teaser of Project Offset in time for the GDC, named Meteor. Intel acquired them last year, but they have yet to confirm the cancellation of the X360 version. Logically they'd want it to stay a PC exclusive, but who knows, so here it is.

I think it looks nice if it was on console but compared to Crysis on PC, this is just average

Realtime my arse. Realtime on a rendering server maybe.
They already proved, in the past, that they can pull this off with their engine.

There was another video somewhere around, I don't suppose you guys have seen a high quality version anywhere?

Watch the other videos. Its real time. Besides, only the effects are THAT impressive (but admitably they are pretty much worthy of a "Holy shit...")

the more i looked at it, the more i agree with this.^^ there's nothing that i can see in this trailer that will lead me to believe that it can't be done on a ps3 or 360, and especially on a high end pc(like mine).:p

This game is turning into vapor ware.
actually it's quite the opposite, especially since the acquisition with intel, and project offset is supposed to be a show-piece for the larrabee. on the other hand, a game like wardevil, is totally turning into vapour ware.

i hope my GTX295 would be man enough for this game.:)
if not, i'll get a larrabee.
They surely won't support any graphics chips other than Larrabee.

they must do, i seriously can't see them limiting the game to such a small audience. afterall, they started project offset using nvidia GPUs. i guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all unfolds.

agreed, it'd be a stupid move to have the game only accessible by <10% of the pc gaming community.
