Page 1 2 >>Whats the point in that open world?
Killing civilian and monsters and military?
hmm.
didn't bought crackdown so maybe will buy this... maybe
Not as detailed as GTA IV, but the framerate is pretty impressive
A decent rent I think.
Plus I am really sick and tired of parkour, it's become really overused in all forms of visual entertainment.
This one looks like a dud to me and this trailer felt like desperation with it's pathetic bullet points "PWN everyone!" oh how new and exciting. I am sure it will appeal to people who think every game should be open world but I still think more focussed linear games make for more satisfying and cohesive experiences by and large.
I really enjoyed HULK ultimate destruction and you can clearly see they took elements from that game and just made it bigger and better.
Anyone looking for mindless destruction and chaos would surely enjoy this game

Mirror's Edge, Prince of Persia, Infamous, Ass Creed, and now Prototype.
The "adaptive parkour" could be a better execution of the type in Ass Creed, that's my fave 'reason'.
Prototype is all about a super powered freak annihilating masses of enemies in the most over the top and insane means necessary..i mean you are playing as an experimental rogue of a character
This is pure arcade fun really, plus its the fantasy element isn't it? everyone wishes they could leap and do the crazy things they see in movies and games, that's why they are so popular!
looks like an OK rental. and thats about it.
How do you die in this game?
It looks like a God of War where you can actually control what you do
None of those ten bullet points looked particularly appealing to me, I just don't really see the point in such an overpowered character.

But this game reminds me a lot of Spider-man as well, and I don't think that would quite have the same affect if you weren't given the freedom to do things like this in a huge environment. Making a game open world for the sake of boasting freedom is silly, but for something like this, I think it works.
