Modern Warfare 2, new images

While most journalists and analysts agree that Modern Warfare 2 will be the best selling game of the Milky Way by next year, Activision release a good bunch of fourteen screenshots mostly covered in snow. There's also a beautiful vista of Rio, the place to be for videogames in 2009.

Character models look immense detail wise. Overall it's a level above the original, which is nothing to scoff at. So long as IW give us some proper physics and dynamic death animations I'll be happy. Oh, and I've noticed a trend in the running animation of the series. It seems to not really have changed at all since the very first game. For some reason, the soliders run as if they've shit themselves, and this is the only way I can describe it.

Dice shows cool looking snow map for BC2 and voila IW copys it...the art looks similar too.

These guy are just as unoriginal as Insomniac IMO

On PC... yes, but that's no surprise. On consoles? It won't look as clean as these shots. It's the post processing that makes it look so good.

Anyway, can't wait. Grift is a fanboy though. >.>
