.hack//GU Part 1 trailer

.hack//GU Part 1 trailer

Bandai Japan released a new trailer for .hack//GU Part 1: RESURRECTION. Even though it looks all PSO-ish and can be misstaken for a MMORPG, it actually seems to be an offline online RPG. The game is totally offline, but the MMORPG community in 2017 has gone all crazy and it's up to you to kick the AI online players asses. I think.

While I didn't like first 4 ./hack games, this game looks very promising. Much more smooth and beautiful and battlesystem looks great. Plus, I like hero.

They call it a MMORPG? i dunno..maybe because you play inside a MMORPG, i mean you are a character inside an AI controlled MMORPG.. wow pretty confusing there..

I don't know if you would like the game if you didn't like the first 4..but hey, it should still be a great RPG. Glad to see the playstation 2 still has life! and great JRPGS!

I think that in the case of .hacks the O in MMORPG stands for OFFLINE. So it's like Massive Multiplayer OFFLINE Role-Playing game.

And the trailer looks awesome. The battle system in the previous hacks wasn't that good (it was passable, but hardly even that), but I absolutely loved the story. This seems to fix the bad battle system, and the plot seems interesting. Definitely one of my Most Wanted games at the moment (after FFXII and Okami).

About the game

What's up?
  • Tinks
Tinks I didn't understand why he played so poorly either though. Subasic has been amazing the rest of the tourney. A big reason they won against Denmark and Russia (10 Hours ago)
  • Tinks
Tinks @MrWhite: I agree. Penalty like that shouldn't happen in a WC final. Croatia's keeper was screened for almost all of those goals, aside from the deflection (10 Hours ago)
  • nostradamus
nostradamus @Melmoth: oh god, that is amazing. the sounds and visuals are insane for a sim. (11 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @droezelke: For both them? Mbapp was 20 odd yards out. His positioning was shite. Should never have let that one past him. (11 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke If FIFA didn't object so long to get a VAR, the concept could have been bug-fixed 10 years ago. (12 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @Tinks: The VAR is an exvellent tool, but the rules applied to the VAR are restricting them from intervening. Also, the hands-rule is so ill defined that it's completely open to interpretation. (12 Hours ago)

droezelke Then the shot came and as he tried to correct to the right, he was leaning on the wrong leg and went out of balance. (12 Hours ago)
