A new Vanillaware game announced

Vanillaware, developers of the very cool looking Odin's Sphere, announced their new game in the latest Famitsu. So far with no name, the game is an action-rpg to be released on the Wii.

i think 2008 is the best year for buying a wii, because the price will be lower and more games like this one will be available...looks great!

Looks great. Vanillaware is one of my favorite developers, with work from Princess Crown to Odin Sphere how can they go wrong, their sprites are pure beauty!

Quite honestly one of the first games on wii to rouse some interest in me. Looks pretty cool. I didn't play odin sphere but i've heard some good things about it so if this title is good and a few more decent games comes out for the wii i might just pick one up :)

Oh my god, ninja times. Yes, yes, and also, YES.

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I'm not saying it's impossible that another developer would want to do it and would do it justice. That's just rarely the case when a franchise changes hands. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And some of them work at Arkane, so I guess that makes sense. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And that's a pretty baseless statement. Just paging through Mobygames, most of the Half Life 2 staff still works at Valve. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX They've lost SOME of their key staff. Staff that they can replace as easily as farming out the game to some third party. (1 Hour ago)

alimokrane Good interview with Phil Harrison: [url] (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog so why does it matter if they make the next one or not? it's like people being excited about rare making a new perfect dark when the people who made perfect dark 1 on the N64 are long gone. (2 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog and the mention of brands being popular is ironic seeing as that's all dev studio's are. valve today is nothing like valve when half life was being made. they've lost all of their key staff. (2 Hours ago)
