I am definitely liking this so far. I'd like to see more detailed visuals but for the type of game it is I suppose it's ok. At the same time though, there are games like Trine 2 and Ori.. so there is nothing wrong with making side scrollers like this very visually appealing.

Looks good but anything Assassin's creed makes me yawn I may even go as far as saying anything Ubisoft puts me to sleep. The way they bled Assassin's creed dry has been an excruciating process and what's worse is that bar Assassin's Creed 3 I've quite enjoyed the franchise.

It's a testament then to the extent of exposure Ubisoft give their games that by the time they are released I have virtually no excitement for them it neither helps, that they lean so heavily on non-fiction in their art design. We need a new AAA IP from them that isn't a re-skin of their games, get rid of the towers and checklists and run free, when they do, great things happen (Rayman, Child of Light, Go Home).

About the game

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @Sdarts: Yup. Oh and I can't forget to mention how dark it is, and that story, real nice. The dynamic between Jackman and Stewart was superb too. (1 Hour ago)

Sdarts @Moonwalker: I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yes, Wolverine in the comics was always bloody, savage and ruthless. Something the previous movies never did, probably to stay PG-13 - suitable for teens. (1 Hour ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @digi_matrix: Looking very forward to it. But no spoilers please. Now I know I will most likely cry at the end. (Which is never a bad thing.) (1 Hour ago)

Sdarts @droezelke: No problem, in games like Edith Finch what's most important is story, characters and world settings. It's like movies or a very short TV show/mini series, gameplay isn't as important. (1 Hour ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Oh and I loved the violence, yep. I never liked how there was barely any blood in the previous films, impossible when you have someone like Wolverine cleaning house. This is how it's done. (1 Hour ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker And I'm so glad I watched the previous X-men movies first, specifically the two Wolverine movies, otherwise some things wouldn't have made sense (1 Hour ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Logan was absolutely fantastic. In terms of acting, emotion, character development it's in a different league than the other X-men movies. Fucking loved it. And man, Jackman is a boss! (1 Hour ago)
