visuals are mighty impressive for what should be just a xbox 360/ps3 game with some PC High Quality vsuals. The setting is great but i still don't a single plot point or line by the protagonist.

This is most likely the PC-Next Gen Consoles version. The original trailer is in 1080p and there's no way current consoles can pull these graphics.

Yeah, will this be related in any way to the centuries old war between the Assassins and Templars? And how will this be related to the modern day storyline too?

Publishers release bullshot-trailers and screenshots for their games all the time. Ubi did the same with the first trailer for ACIII.

I think we all know what to expect from this one: same gameplay as AC3 and some new stupid twist on the whole templar-assassin conflict (which nobody is interested in anways). The setting and the premise seem fantastic, but that's obviously just bait for MORE OF THE SAME.
Still, many thousands of nerds and all the no-life gamers will buy it and there'll be another entry in this damned milk-tastic franchise...

Graphics look like 360/PS3 quality.

Still disinterested until they make combat more challenging. They can make it as fancy as they like it is still too easy.

A shame, the pirate theme could have been really neat, but I feel it's ruined by being cloaked in the AC franchise.

animations aside, these visuals (underwater, jungle) look as polised and more appealing to me than most watch dogs scenes. and all peeps are riding the next-gen wave on thatone. then let me be.

They have made too many of these in a short space of time but I guess that's Ubi for you.

Bunch of arse-holes.

Hmm, lighting, foliage and the underwater sure look good, but that's not enough to impress me. I want to know if they tweaked the gameplay and streamlined the clunky UI.

Nah, definitely not next gen, AC3 looked nice too imo. Only the colours where more subdued then they are here. If the world is more sea faring then massive, populated cities, it may be a case of them being able to make things look a tiny bit nicer? But otherwise it looks very current gen. At most PC footage of the game (which never looked drastically improved compared to the console versions anyway...

Game still look like boring crap though, so i don't much care how good or bad it looks.

Yeah, Kyd's absence was a big letdown for me too, overall whole game was a letdown lol
I would really like that Kyd returns but in all honesty I doubt it, Ubi is on Balfe's hype train atm

looks really good to me. Glad I passed on all AC's since 1 & 2. I will probably end up getting this for next gen, as I love the thought of open world pirate exploration and plundering.

They do need to revamp the gameplay though. The one button combat and no button free running should be modified to include some semblance of a challenge. I would rather die more often, but at least have a sense of accomplishment when I kill enemies, than breeze through a 100 man army singlehandedly...
