I cant see many people paying full 360 price? (£40) then £7-12 extra every month to play this game.

They just cant compete with WoW! No matter how good it looks and what it has over WoW.

What does it matter?
You are supposed to have fun playing the game and not to worry about playing a game less popular than the most successful MMO till now…

The screens look okay for a MMO. Too bad for me that I like the dying point & click games more than those action hack and slay games. I guess I have to stop playing MMOs as lately they all have these annoying WASD control schemes…

Maybe not Conan, but Warhammer may do so.

Different Target audience my friend, this is a much more serious and mature. And it has plenty plenty of awsome stuff. Like a very different combat system from most mmo's..i personally can't wait =)

The game can't compete with WoW on PC, but there's a huge untapped market on consoles.

Personally, I am in the mood for a good console RPG. To me, the consoles make a natural fit for any game that you have to sit for many hours on end. MS also doesn't have a problem giving keyboard support to these types of games either, so it sounds like we're good to go.

Looks good. I just hope the combat isn't drearily boring, as it's what drives me away from most MMO games.

Also, if I hear WoW one more time...

Contra: If you keep up with the news one of the things that AoC boasts is a new combat system that's supposed to be much more interactive compared to other MMORPG titles.

As a Fan of the Robert Ervin Howard books i am just so looking forward to this!
Awsome...
And even if it cant compete with WoW, who cares, there are already enough fans out there which will keep this one running for a long time (Which of course depends on how good the game actually is when it is released, but i don't think it will be bad, there have been too many positive previews out there already...)
I cross my fingers for this one!

That's the largest selling point for me too. I'm hoping to see some cool renditions of the places i've read about. Tarantia, Zamora, Pointain, the Barrachan isles, the black citadel...the list goes on :)

I've seen it in action on gametrailers.com. It looked rather boring. Since I don't have access to the beta I can't really judge it. Also, I don't trust MMO devs on combat systems anymore. I remember the makers of Tabula Rasa saying it contained a shooter-like combat system. They forgot to mention the part where you click an enemy and auto aim/attack.

I wasn't confused by it at all. I meant the game, and if I hear about it one more time...
