The reviews for this have been mixed at best. European sites seem to like it, but US sites are tearing it apart.

Concept looks like an upscale version of Outlast. Right up my alley.

The negative reviews are being negative due to the game apparently being repetitive and stretched out.

Maybe you guys could put little insignia's on the pictures like the Xbox, Playstation symbols real small in a corner, with a little transparency even not to compromise a screen. Maybe just the letters PC for PC lol, since there isnt a universal logo.

Many times its not noted what system the screens are from, but im guessing that you guys obviously know? Just would be a nice little addition to make an already near perfect image delivery system closer to perfect.

I think this would probably benefit PC gamers most, as typically i presume the PC screens are the ones normally always shown, but i dont think that is the case with alot of new, and/or upcoming next gen games.

Don't think i'll be picking this up at the asking price, but it's definitely on my radar. Graphics do look pretty good.

If a game has a PC version at launch, then you can bet screens shown to the press will always be from the PC version on max settings.

Definitely getting this game. Saw the reviews.

Some say it's awesome. Some it's just ok. However, in the bad reviews, all the negatives seemed like positives: it's a long game, it's difficult & easy to die, and you can't go CoD on the alien.

The only negative that seemed like a negative was that it was anticlimactic. That would be disappointing after 20 hours of playing.

Either way, getting this game because it looks and sounds awesome.

Anyone know what resolution / frame rate the Xbox One and PS4 are running at? Trying to figure out which version to order!!

"It’s the most visually striking game world since Deus Ex: Human Revolution"

"Alien: Isolation is perhaps the most graphically consistent game across platforms of this console generation. Compare Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC versions of the game and see if you notice a difference."

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @KORNdog: Still very different. More like Diablo but the "game feel" is not as polished. Systems are more well designed, but I have to give it to Diablo when it comes to fit and finish. (3 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @GriftGFX: like divinity? Better or worse? Might be one i dust off the xbox for. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX The economy is unique and will probably seem strange to new players.. but every system is cleverly tied together in PoE. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And yes.. the passive skill tree is pretty insane. It has a healthy mix of rigid decision making in its passive tree and flexibility in the active skill system. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Path of Exile is an endlessly playable action RPG and Pillars of Eternity is a turn-based single player game w/ a party system. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX No they are not.. they are both RPGs and they both have isometric cameras but that's where the similarities end. (4 Hours ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz I always confuse the PoE abbreviation with Pillars of Eternity. Are they even the same type of game? (4 Hours ago)
