Maybe you have not heard much about Lexis Numérique, but the French studio is currently working on two potentially interesting PSN titles. Red Jonhson's Chronicles is the first one and will get a full preview in the following days here on Gamersyde. The second title is a survival-horror game simply called AMY and it seems rather ambitious. The team apparently put a lot of effort in creating a good story and an immersive world so we really hope the game will not disappoint. We have a bunch of images for you guys, until we can see the game in action.

Info

2034. Global warming, diseases, natural catastrophes and a comet destroyed the world, and particularly Silver City, where the action take place. Contaminated, wounded, willing to survive, Lana has one advantage in this world of doom. It comes in the shape of a mysterious, autistic, 8 years old girl... AMY.

i was honestly hoping for a 2D side scrolling platformer like flashback. but the fact it's made by the guy behind flashback is enough to keep me interested.

would be nice if this is a real survival horror too, not played one since SIREN

EDIT : never even knew of "red jonhson's (lol) chronicles". looks pretty cool. seeing as my 360 died before i got the chance to finish grey matter. red johnson (seriously, why call a game that) could scratch my adventure game itch.

Well, not for now. The French press relase makes no mention of a 360 or PC version. So it will probably follow, but for now it's considered a PSN exclusive.

Looks great, I'm guessing there'll be some Lovecraftian insanity mechanics.

"In addition to the unique co-op gameplay, AMY features original stealth-action elements and an emphasis fierce melee combat. Because Lana and Amy are often weaker than their enemies, players must choose to fight, or escape by running, pushing enemies away or hiding until the creatures depart. Adding yet another twist to the gameplay, players must balance Lana's level of infection in order to navigate monster-ridden areas. When Lana allows herself to succumb to the virus by separating herself from Amy, she is no longer attacked by the bloodthirsty creatures. But if she's exposed too long without protection, she will not make it through alive."

I just hope the gameplay looks better in final form, too much alpha-footage vibe going. a little rough.
