Another Super Mario Galaxy trailer

Another Super Mario Galaxy trailer

I guess there is a first for everything, since it's definitely the first time that I get a new trailer from Amazon.com off all places. Anyway, as always for Super Mario Galaxy, this looks great!

For a wii game I don't think people could ask for any more.

I can see it being one of those games that people familiarise the wii with, much like Halo to the Xbox/Xbox 360.

graphically, it looks really good (for a wii game). just a bummer that it is another mario game. i like mario games and all but nintendo seriously should start opening up to a wider crowd and actually make games for the hardcore gamer. i think the wii would double in prices. cause yeah, pretty much every mother has given their little Timmy a Wii.

Comon on mustacio, Mario is about as hardcore as gaming gets. Always has been.

it does have multiplayer but from what I understand you won't have another person playing as another character with you as odd as that sounds O_o

its funny wen ppl criticise halo 3 for not having much new
but mario galaxy looks like nothing new iether
which is good, because mario and halo are ace
which is what annoys me about reviewers
i promise you right now non of the reviews will criticise it for not doing anything really 'new' just cos its mario

I think you're wrong here. Sure the gameplay mechanics are nothing new (apart from Wii functions) but the overall design is as unique as you're ever likely to see from a platformer now and for some time to come.

Am I the only one who was strongly reminded of Zelda: OoT's Hyrule Field music and not at all of anything in the Mario cannon?

Nintendo fans are probably some of the if not the most hardcore gamers...

You make it sound as if Nintendo isn't successful enough with the games they make. They're probably making more profit than either Microsoft or Sony will in this current console war. They destroy on the handheld market and in consoles they have their audience pegged perfectly. They target the audience MS and Sony overlook. They also target this audience because Nintendo is a videogame company first and foremost, while the rest are not.

Mustacio try a Paper Mario on Wii.

I know that Mario looks like a character for kids, but there are tons of games with this guy that will glue the Wii remote to your hand.

Tiz Halo is a lot more dependent on individual skill which makes gunfights more intense and Overwatch is far more dependent on team synergy. (2 Hours ago)
