Page 1 2 3 >>What is up with the justice music, it doesn't fit the atmosphere at all and the trailer isn't even well edited to it. I recall a great trailer of AC 1 with Unkle's "lonely soul" which was beautifully done instead of this one =/
Besides, even if AC2 is my most anticipated game of the year, I really don't like the color palette compared to the first one.
Crazy Canadian developers
I love Justice but this trailer is horrible. They should look at what R* does, I didn't like the music before they put it into their BoGT trailer.
Didn't fit. At all.
But ah well, atleast we Jesper Kyd wont do the same.
Anyways, the trailer was good, didn't expect much really.
What's he meant to be this time anyway? Obviously not a monk. A courtesan, perhaps, but one that sticks out like a sore thumb.
But that brings me to another point about this character: I hope he stands out from Altair as his own man. I mean, I'm sure he'll have his own story and all, but I wonder how many animations and behaviors will be imported for AC1. If it's too many, as much of the climbing/fighting has suggested to me, the characters in AC2 will lose realism to me. That is to say, the character won't have any *gameplay* personality, which can contribute to the "reality" of the character, as well as the world in which it exists, as much as how they look or sound, or their background story. Some sports games, for instance, suffer from this: no matter how much the players *look* like their real life counterparts, if they *all* play the same, then the game may not feel as organic and living as one in which the players *play* like real life.
Make no mistake, I love Altair. I love AC. I'm pumped about a sequel, even if it is merely an expanded version of the first game. But why make a new character if he feels like the old one? Why ditch Altair if this guy turns out to be Altairo (that's Italian for Altair, if you're wondering), which will only make them seem like robotic copies of one another as opposed to individual men?
oh, and the music was stupid.
I have a feeling this game will bomb hard, AC1 was soo bad
I really hope theres a decent mission structure there this time. The first AC looked great, and i loved the combat (something batman reminded me alot of), but the game itself was so damn boring that i couldnt force the enthusiasm to finish it
I'm really liking the AC2: Black Edition (featured in the trailer), however it is (as of right now) to the best of my knowledge, apparently not being sold in North America.
North American AC fans got shafted royally on the special edition for the original. The Euros and Asians got a gloriously awesome 12" figurine of Altair in their special ed, all we got as a crummy 3" version with a lousy "making of" DVD.
I was willing to pay top dollar for the AC1 special ed, but Ubisoft decided to forsaken it's North American customers. Not again if I can help it. If there is any chance that AC2 is region-free, than I am importing the black edition. If not, then screw Ubisoft, I'll just get AC2 standard edition . . . pre-owned.
So I am hoping that AC1 was region-free, as that may be an indicator that AC2 may have a good chance of being region-free as well.
Does anyone know if the original AC was region-free or not?
Seriously this is perhaps the worst edited trailer i've seen for a long time.

I enjoyed the first one even with it's mission design flaws and will definitely be picking this up day one.
I have this feeling too but I remain optimistic,I really hope the game will be awesome =)
