If you ever wondered what a 100% "new-gen" Assassin's Creed game could look like, well take a look at this video just released by Ubisoft. The new game is (currently?) called Assassin's Creed Unity, and will be released at the end of the year on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

And I really dont like the character's design, its like they didnt put any effort into it compared to previous AC games.
I wish they would go into a more overhaul change like feudal japan/china type of setting.
In comparision look at Infamous - the graphicsa are really sharp and all but the streets still look empty and lifeless. I mean if I could choose I would cut some of the detali or resolution and put tons of characters and cars on screen so you could see them even in distance.
@Mrfred.
That was in game, you could tell with some shimmer, and shadows. I think that was PS4 footage.
Not even on PC.
The volume fx was (very) partially implemented in the pc/ps4/x1 versions of black flag, while ubi first used depth sprites in Advanced Warfighter 2.
ac4 i did buy on ps4 and hated, boring, looked horrid too
If those are in fact legit graphics, its going to be crazy from a realistic looking approach perspective.
Lets just hope they can improve the gameplay of this franchise, specially the combat system, bringing something new, different and not as boring after 3 missions or fights. I mean, its time dear fellows from Ubisoft, we've been through quite a few AC games and we are now on The next gen. Visuals and boats are not enough. Thank you.
In engine means nothing to how the game will actually look, hell look at the cut scenes in killzone shadowfall the characters look good BUT in the actual game when your playing those same characters look pretty bad compared
for example that nutty female scientist woman she looked great in that cutscene when she was being held and she was pushed (if u know what scene i mean) but as soon as your playing the game and you follow her to the lab she looks crap
