Trailer PC PS4 Xbox One

Here comes a brand new trailer of Assassin's Creed Unity, this time unveiling a bit more about the game's story. It's also worth mentioning that we just put online our French preview of the game, along with an interview (still in French) spliced with some brand new footage of the game. Check it here.

Awesome trailer and visuals, but i dont like the main character's face, its way too generic these days.
The usual stubble face throws it off, way too common in protaginists these days and it makes them all look similair one to another.

I look forward to the OST tbh.

@BlimBlim:

Any chance you can put all those images from the preview article in the French side on this article or a new one?

Either way, thanks in advance.

Meh, Ps4 can easily pull off 1080p but I believe Ubisoft wants "equal" which is bullshit. If thats the case then they should do the same thing to Pc were you cant go above 900p lol.

Both versions are going to be 900p/30fps--both Xbox and Playstation versions i mean. I guess Ubisoft encountered problems with CPU bottlenecking the GPU, so the opted for Parity, instead of attempting to add a few more pixels to the PS4 version.

given that The Division is a much bigger project and enjoys a brand new engine I truly hope we won't hear anything like this again.
(and we all know it will ..obviously ! )
this is inexcusably pathetic .. they initially claimed they were targeting 1080p/60fps,considering the fact that Anvil Next is a better engine that Watch Dogs' ..still too good to be true .. I seriously didn't think of Ubisoft repeating its mistake ... ahh History ! fingers crossed they are going to provide ps4 owners with a post-release resolution patch

So let me get this straight. Ubisoft could make Black Flag on the PS4 1080p but not this game!?!? Something seriously doesn't smell right here and I don't think it's the PS4 fault.

Parity? Bog off, consider that a pre-order cancelled. More time for GTA V then!

Both trailers should be the English version. We know Ubisoft is all about that parity. *runs away*

I don't understand why 900p matters... I used to play rainbow six on a 5 inch black&white monitor on my first xbox just to be able to play it online. :)
btw this story trailer looks awesome!

But I thought that resolution doesn't matter - according to almost all games' "journalists" - and that the human eye can't see the difference past 30 fps. XP

Im more of a frame rate kinda of guy since it play a lot into how the game controls, resolution makes very little difference to me, especially if they use low quality textures, they better have good AA though, as that will be prominent.

I was really hoping for 1080p mostly because I love this time period and locale. I've not really played AC since AC2 because i've not really been interested by them...but revolutionary France is a favorite of mine in terms of history, architecture, literature etc...alas, Ubisoft is really becoming the king of let-down. Qu'il se fasse écrasé par une cavalcade de morses. Il y en a 34k en Alaska ^_^.

Used to being the key word... times change. People expect better at this point. And 900p isn't even the real story here, the story is Ubisoft is admitting to holding back the ps4 version just because they want to avoid people arguing about which version is better? What the fuck. Honestly, screw them.

Consoles got parity, PC gets the target quality. (as usual)

I just hope the game runs good. none of the AC games have ever ran stable at launch. makes me wonder if Current gen level PCs will end up lowering to 900p in order to play this as well. I can't wait to see what the system specs are.

If their recent attempts at PC games are any indication, it will be a terrible port on PC too. If they ruin Far Cry 4 too I'm gonna flip, my most anticipated game of the year by a mile

The resolution parity sucks, but at the end of the day, people will buy and enjoy the game if they really like it, be it on consoles or on PC. And if resolution and framerate matter so much to some people, they can always buy the PC version, as it will always be the superior version in those categories.

Digital Foundry did an excellent article on gaming at 1080p60fps on a sub-£500 PC that comprehensively bests Xbox One and PS4. In the article they compare both R9 270, R9 270X and GTX 760, but with the GTX 970 being so cheap and delivering far much more, you can easily build a very high end PC for under £600. And a PC that will be able to do 2560x1440 resolution at 60 fps at the highest settings on most titles, let alone 1080p.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2...

I'm not saying people should buy a PC just for one game, only that if resolution and/or framerate bothers some people very much, a simple GPU and/or CPU upgrade will suffice, and in the event that it doesn't, even buying a new high end PC isn't as expensive as most people believe.

So for £200-250 more than a PS4 or XBO, anyone can game at 1440p@60fps if resolution and/or framerate matters so much. Plus additional benefits as modding, 3D vision, G-Sync, Oculus Rift, games' prices on Steam, GOG, GMG and etc, PC gaming is extremely accessible.

And to those that only want to game on their couch looking at a big TV screen, there's lots of ways to do so, some more easy and/or cheap than others. You can put your PC next your TV, use an extra-long DVI/HDMI cable from your PC to your TV, use a wireless keyboard + mouse combo on the sofa for RTSs and FPSs using a table or couch board like the Couchmaster and many others.

There's so many ways it only depends on having the will and some money - depending on the route chosen, plus there are a ton of guides and tutorials on how to have a PC in the living room. Leaving some links below:

Sorry for the long post and I hope this at least helps someone, if not to become a PC gamer, at least to see that PC gaming isn't as expensive and/or complicated as most people believe, even in the living room.

The point is we shouldn't be forced into worse versions of games just because Ubisoft feels like it. Its insulting, and shouldn't be encouraged and the only way to show them that is to not buy the games they're putting out. This whole thing just reeks of sleeziness, super bummed I'm getting punished because Ubisoft wants parity. Lowest common denominator
