I'm guessing Sub-HD resolutions again, if so I'll wait for the PC version.

You guess wrong, fake nostradamus. Game is now 720p with FXAA opposed to the demmanding 4xMSAA solution. Way better than that sub-HD POS looking Siren: Lost Translation @ 500p with BlurAA(QuicnuxAA), and nears the IQ of the aproaching PC release of AW.

1200 points to be more precise, mine are already lined up.

why do you bring up a game that probably had less than half the budget and came out years ago as reference to how good this looks in comparison? Makes zero sense

perfect example of how a game can not only be bad looking by its standards but even worse by the lack of definition the sub-hd upscalling creates, you even get a shit smuged of vaseline to blurify the stink all over it.

sub-hd is bad. crap post-processing blur in top of it is even worse. At least something like Halo 3 made you suffer from jaggies that cut your eye, but didn't make you cross-eyed trying to figure what crap texture is that through all the vaseline IQ that some games think that blur is better than jaggies.

Because he's a silly fanboy that needs to take as many shots at the other side as possible. Duh.

720p + FXAA also doesn't approach 1080+ with 16XAA.

There's no guarantee that there will ever be one. Don't forget--the PC version of Alan Wake isn't published by Microsoft Game Studios. There's very little indication one way or another if this is even a possibility.

so it's 720p that is great news.

Try playing games for fun not for what resolutions they are.

probably not, i hardly doubt the game is v-synced now that it even is 720p.

Hey, I'm not the one who has to constantly validate my decisions by being an asshole on the internet. How's that working out for you?

About the game

What's up?
  • Melmoth
Melmoth problem with such platforms is they will only work with software where they can extract motion data, and having no standards there, they have build support for each individual game. (28 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @MrWhite: gotta untwist those cords (30 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite What I want to know is, what if the game glitches? (48 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite It's a strange thing. I reckon being tossed around physically like that would help with certain sims, though. If not, yeah, you're projectile vomiting all over the gaff. LOL that would be hilarious. (49 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @MrWhite: I mean, part of the problem I've experienced is when you move without moving. I can feel my head go "Whoa! What's going on here?! I didn't send the signal to move!" (50 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @GriftGFX: Locomotion. Wouldn't that help making your mind believe what its seeing a bit more for motion sickness? (52 minutes ago)
  • rayy
rayy @alimokrane: Sometimes I think you care more about the viewpoint than if the game is fun lol. (1 Hour ago)
