I'm guessing Sub-HD resolutions again, if so I'll wait for the PC version.

You guess wrong, fake nostradamus. Game is now 720p with FXAA opposed to the demmanding 4xMSAA solution. Way better than that sub-HD POS looking Siren: Lost Translation @ 500p with BlurAA(QuicnuxAA), and nears the IQ of the aproaching PC release of AW.

why do you bring up a game that probably had less than half the budget and came out years ago as reference to how good this looks in comparison? Makes zero sense

perfect example of how a game can not only be bad looking by its standards but even worse by the lack of definition the sub-hd upscalling creates, you even get a shit smuged of vaseline to blurify the stink all over it.

sub-hd is bad. crap post-processing blur in top of it is even worse. At least something like Halo 3 made you suffer from jaggies that cut your eye, but didn't make you cross-eyed trying to figure what crap texture is that through all the vaseline IQ that some games think that blur is better than jaggies.

Because he's a silly fanboy that needs to take as many shots at the other side as possible. Duh.

720p + FXAA also doesn't approach 1080+ with 16XAA.

There's no guarantee that there will ever be one. Don't forget--the PC version of Alan Wake isn't published by Microsoft Game Studios. There's very little indication one way or another if this is even a possibility.

Try playing games for fun not for what resolutions they are.

probably not, i hardly doubt the game is v-synced now that it even is 720p.
