Wish the game is as good as this trailer, i think they spend more time and money on this AWESOME trailer then the actual game, cause what i have seen at Gamecom its another generic dull space shooter.

so ihe point of this game is to play as one of the ODST? But then that just makes the master chief seem insignificant doesnt it? Unless its like one hit kills you and super difficult.

Seeing this amazing trailer makes it even more obvious how fucking amazing a Halo movie could be if done right. After seeing district 9, i would bet microsoft is kicking themselves bigtime for not FORCING that movie to happen.

If done at a big enough budget (why the movie ended up getting shot down), a Halo movie would easily be a sci-fi epic like few others :-)

Great trailer, they really should do a Halo movie with an overblown budged, run the risk of it being bad. I just have to know whenever it would work as a movie. ^^

sent a link to the trailer to several friends and family member who aren't gamers. Most asked when this was in theaters. They were ready to buy tickets . . . and they avoid sci-fi movies like the plague.

However you see the 360 . . . they know how to sell snow to Eskimos.

You dont have to like the game or enjoy the action packed trailer, but saying that this is crap is just plain stupid.

There ARE other trailers that feature gameplay. This is just another medium of art to give a different perspective of the mythos that surrounds the game's story. Its purpose is to get people into the right mindset. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Now, if this were a teaser trailer at E3 and they showed this instead of giving any glimpse of what the game actually is, THEN I'd be annoyed... but this is simply icing on the cake. We already know what the game is.

First class as expected. I really hope the story lives up to the hype.

Brilliant trailer, but after i playd the demo at Gamecom, it felt old and dated and the graphics were uter shit for a next gen shooter game, im getting Forza 3 instead.

This ads for Halo are so gritty and dark, in a good way. But Halo games are so colorfoul :/. How is that?

I don't know why I'm so desperate for a Halo movie, as I'm not much of a fan of Halo's story - I've never really understood it, if I'm being honest (although I think that's probably because I've never made an effort to follow it). I guess I'm just curious more than anything, as I reckon it's got the potential to be one heck of a sci-fi movie - and, for some reason, I've really gotten into the sci-fi genre recently.

This trailer has only made me desire a Halo movie even more. Just imagine that battle scene in the trailer made even longer with even more spectacular effects? I'd certainly watch it.
