Page 1 2 >>That was epic.
But Seriously this game is the cats meow. I don't even know how you can compare this game to MW3...technically it looks leaps and bounds better and after playing the alpha (mind you ALPHA) I'm comfortable saying the gameplay is darn near perfect.
Another thing, even though it looks amazing, I've seen levels in the original Crysis (texture mods included) that do look on par with this. It's not a bad thing. In fact, it's a very good thing. I reckon that if your rig is maxing out Crysis with excellent fps, then you'll have absolutely no issues whatsoever running this game with high to very high settings.
Tons of people dont like modern war games so for them its very easy to say its boring (which even so the trailer is great IMO), or even like the battlefield type of gameplay (myself included).
Its just preference really, visuals are one of the best thats for sure.
There isnt alot of FPS games out there that has ground/air dynamic gameplay like Battlefield, so its a unique title, Homefront is the only other title I can come up with but compared to Battlefield it didnt deliver.
I don't really want to complain about it but I can download(or in this case I cant) this with just 70 KB/s. The backup server(which I can downlad with over 600 KB/s) stucks when I downloaded just about 50% of this. Am I the only one having these problems?
Ahh... gah... muhh... buh...
Anything can compete with that based on what people like and dont like.
Amazing trailer. Can't wait for coverage from the LAN. I wonder if we'll get to play Caspian Border in the beta? I can dream.
Tbh, I am more excited for MW3 than this (fit my style of gameplay more).
I can understand that this game is not for everyone, but for everyone who does like this style of multiplayer, this must be the epiphany as far as shooters go. I have no idea how many hours I will spend on this game, but I'm pretty sure I will gain a few pounds in front of my PC-screen.
BTW this is running of a 2GB 6970, the gamersyde 60 FPS ver is TOO AWESOME!! Epic stuff
How do you know? That would be great. That means I will be able to play it at max settings.
They were looking for 32 6970's for the Gamescom LAN a week ago. I haven't heard any confirmation that this trailer is running that config though...
