Trailer PC Xbox 360 PS3

Electronic Arts has released part 2 of their Battlefield 3's Faultline series called Good Effect on Target. As the first one it's pretty impressive. For now we only have a 720p version, but you know us, check back really soon to watch it in glorious 1080p.

They really skip over some of the transitions (prone)
Also would have liked to see him taking cover against walls like his teammates. Not to mention crawling against the wall seems pointless when you're crawling out in the open.

Well with the xbox being 6 years old this year its very easy to call it last gen but give it a pat on the back its still going to be running this game :) unlike your 1 year old pc :P

also noticed that. this is a very early build, so that probably isn't fully implemented yet, i guess. Otherwise looks great.

Also got that vibe, in a good way. would be cool if that got some of mirrors edge moving animations/mechanics in to this.

I have never cared about the single player mode in any Battlefield game ever before but this looks kinda good!! Especially to me since I beat Medal of Honor yesterday....they two videos make MoH look like utter garbage that it is

Not as impressed by the graphics as last trailer and the deja vu of seeing the same uniforms, equipment, weapons and setting is getting stronger. I really hope only maybe the start of the game takes place in the middle east with the US forces and some dramatic shift takes place in which army and geography is the focus. I mean why not the Bundeswehr or the Royal Marines or some force other than the US, I mean it is just so fucking old now. Even the first Modern Warfare had those awesome switches between the SAS and the USMC (or Rangers I forget now) and they illustrated the differing national mentality and humour really well.

I am in no way anti american but no one can argue that it shows a serious lack of imagination to make yet another game based around them so as I said I hope there is some kind of variety.

Also, they should have dropped the "faultline" tagline or waited a while to release this trailer, more than a little fucking inappropriate right now and they really don't need to start feverishly bombarding us with hype for a title with such a distant release date.

Of course it's scripted. Scripted is what people want in their SP nowadays it would seem.
One could argue it makes the story more believable though, and that they are attempting to bridge a gap with film.

I'd rather watch someone play it perfectly like these videos, than play it myself. Because if the scripting is that huge, there'll hardly be any fail states like you probably can't die between each sniper shot and each cover.

Finally the best sound on the market is being mixed with the best graphics on the market. I'll be willing to spent a good chunk of cash to get my PC playing this thing as good as possible. This game looks like a dream come true for me.

Easily my most antiicipated game for the next year or so.

I can't wait to see the MP videos!!!!!!
