Activision released this new trailer of Call of Duty: Black Ops showing us the multiplayer aspect of the game. Now the question is: will Treyarch manage to convince the hardcore fans of the franchise with this one?
I won't make the same mistake this time. This one will be a rental. COD MP is horrendous now days, and the single player campaign can be completed in a weekend easily.
yeah, more cheap stuff like RC cars. This time you dont need to palce C4, you can just drive around with it.... seriously. Wont buy this. Modern Warfare 2.5. Series is dead to me since WaW.

theres a more indepth video about the modes on marketplace. I'm really interested in this now..the fact that you can play the modes with bots offline is a huge plus too. And it's about time other games adopted halo's theatre mode.
I'll pick it up when its cheaper. Gotta be better value than $15 map packs

Actually interested by this, seems to be much more of a step forward in features than MW2 was. I'll keep my eye on it.
Can't say I'll actually play wager match though. Sounds like the gametype that people really good will enjoy, and everyone else will never play.
The 'cycling Fiesta' looks cool too, and the spree thing looks interesting, but each death putting you down a level will definitely lead to some people with amazing weapons and people at the bottom still using pistols.

Not only that, you can drive it up the stairs, I mean it is so damn stupid!
You can't hide from it, and it is even too fast and the distance is unlimited.
Now I wont buy this game (sci-fi shooters for me), but my sister liked COD4 and for some odd reason liked MW2, she might get Black Ops as well, but between MW2 and Black Ops, Black Ops doesnt seem to be a chaotic piece of trash...so far from the videos I saw, it seems toned down.
I think it is confirmed that Black Ops will have zombie mode? I might give it a go if she buys it :P
Going to be great....on SP veteran and thats it. I grew tired of this kind of arcade-type-fps-gameplay. New modes looks good only because everything else looks rather ridiculous.
gun game and one in the chamber both look pretty fun.. I'm not buying it until I see when and how they plan to offer mod tools and what people can do with them though. I'm definitely intrigued!

There are 3 game play videos up on YouTube and the guy playing states that it is harder to kill people, shotguns are nerfed and are a default weapon, all weapons act the same ie damage instead of having those 2 perks (can't remember the names grrrr!).
Plus he also goes on to say that the guns have way more recoil and that it reminds him of COD4 and also COD2!
