Those pics in the second scan are CGI aren't they ?

I remember IGN talking about at the start of the game you start off in that village and encounter the purple clouds.

If that's real time the graphics looking better than i thought. :|

I don't think you start off with your shadow abilities, if you notice Shu is holding a sword, I expect the first few battles are fought regularly, until you learn about shadows, Sakaguchi said there was over 200 shadow types to obtain also.

I hope this game is awesome, and if Japan don't support it screw em, the US and Europe sure will.
