An English version of this game cannot come out soon enough. This is the first jRPG that I have had coniption fits about since the release of KOTOR made me start to focus on wRPGs and the innovations to the genre they represented.
The look and feel of Blue Dragon reminds me a lot of the original Grandia (Sega Saturn) if it were made today. Grandia stands as one of my all-time favorite imports and looking at any of the realtime Blue Dragon media, just brings back floods of nostalgia like you would not believe. As things stand right now, the only game I want (on any system) more than Blue Dragon is GTA4. I know the english version of Blue Dragon is coming Stateside next spring, but it all seems so far away at the moment - especially with M$ and Mistwalker saving the bulk of all the Blue Dragon related media for either X06 or TGS (or both).
Just gotta hold on a few more months and then RPG nirvana will be mine. With both Blue Dragon and Mass Effect releasing next spring (in Western markets), RPG nirvana sounds about the right term to use.

Oh yeah, i always meant to ask you this blim, but howcome you cant translate the page for us when its out of a japanese mag or something? I dont mind looking at the pictures, but i feel that these japanese magazines get more info on these games than the U.S. magazines do, im just curious as to what they always say.

This look takes it back to the nostalgic rpg look of past generations, only now in smoother models. I'll put it in the category of Skies of Arcadia. I loved that game. I always hoped for more of a cartoony styled rpg to come along to supplement the rpg genre. Hmm... character kind of looks like Goku.
