beta really surprised me. Game lends itself well to online play..even if it can be frustrating to get completely owned on the last stretch of the final lap.

I do hope theres more powerups in the end game though

I agree, the game can be fun at times but I also had the experience of very often being in first a large majority of the match just to get knocked out of first place towards the end of the last lap and end up in 4th place. Gets very frustrating.

Also, a better variety of powerups and more frequent powerups would be more interesting, but I'm not a huge fan of powerup racers in the first place so this woudn't ever be more than a rental for me anyhow.

also, seems the whole multiplatform aspect of design hurt Bizarre as this doesn't seem nearly as impressive as PGR games always were. not only graphics but artistic as well.

I liked the demo a lot. It seems that if rpg elements are correctly implemented, it's almost automatically enough for me to like it. I like the way how it feels and plays. The power-ups are great too. Though its a fairly compact collection of power-ups. But they're good enough since they're so awesome to fire off, especially the shunt.

Graphic-wise it's not the top, but it looks great as is.

    KORNdog it was one of the earlier full priced games to go that route i think and it wasn't received well as you can imagine. EA haven't really changed all that much it seems. lol (4 Hours ago)
