This can be sooo good, or just another Club crap. I love the art style, I get a bit of a TF2 feel from it.

It's a first person shooter that could be promising.

shots are meaningless. Need some actual gameplay shots.

I believe this game shares the same new ID engine thats powering rage.. so when they do show some gameplay we should be in for a treat

lol it does look like The Club meets Team Fortress.

I cant tell its bullshots by the lack of in-game footage.

@bleachedsmiles

This game uses a heavily modified id Tech 4 engine, so not the same that Rage is using.

Very nice artstyle, kind of like "realistic caricature" but the game will have to do something really special to stand out in the most overcrowded genre there is.

I hope it does because I love the character design...

I thought it was Club 2. The Club was a great concept just didn't have enough depth.

The heads being the only thing really all that stylized, I dunno that I like the style...

So this is the first collaboration between Bethesda and id? When I heard they were getting together, dreams of an Rage/id Tech 4/whatever powered Oblivion/Fallout style danced in my head. The visuals of id (who, say what you want, but they have almost always pushed graphics further) plus the depth of Bethesda? Sign me up.

But not only do I need to see some gameplay, I need to know what the gameplay is going to be. FPS? TPS? RPG? Hybrid? Beat 'em up?

Reminds me of Timesplitters. Looks like it may be fun but hard to judge at the moment...

Previews from IGN have indicated that the shots are not bullshots and the game does look spectacular.

This game is by the makers of ETQW, and seeing that they implemented interesting class ideas in that game, this game should see some great co-op action.

For those who don't know what this games about, its a FPS set on a artificial island after the world has been flooded. You play as either the rebels or the peacekeepers fighting for control of the island. From play throughs it looks like it has a singleplayer element where you in a squad of 3 each play a particular class like engineer, and go on to do missions like have the engineer repair the crane to proceed.

while i love the style and visuals, i cant get excited untill i see it in action, from the descriptions in previews it's sounding less then steller form someone who enjoys single player games.

Actually, gameplay looks pretty identical to what is shown in the screen shots. Here are some in-game footage videos:

Doom_Bringer Well the new Mass Effect 2 DLC is awesome, probably the best DLC I have ever played. It has some unforeseen revelations though...like going after Cerberus and the illusive man (8 Hours ago)

jackdoe @java4ever: Meh. I enjoyed the fact that Kratos faced his demons, conquered them, and then got vengeance. It felt very satisfying. Especially on hard mode. I wanted to rip my hair out at some points. (8 Hours ago)

java4ever 2 each each own i guess, to me it was utterly dissapoing even with the moronic kratos vanish. Made worse by listening to Jaffe's Personal Epic choice for the conclusion @ some GamesCom interview. (8 Hours ago)

jackdoe @java4ever: I have to disagree again. It ties up a bunch of wacky loose ends started by God of War 2 and did so in a very neat manner which was exciting and provided closure. (8 Hours ago)
