Cavia has put up a trailer from Bullet Witch on their official website, showing some more of the game in general - but no gameplay sequences. The trailer looks really nice - the in-game images released previously doesn't.
sath as you know yer picture is from DarkSector i wonder if its a PS3 exlcusive now heard it was some where hope not . Anyway Bullet witch looks ok but im not excepting anything rich and orginal to come from it.
Thought I'd try to do a translation of the text in the trailer, so here goes:
- In a devastated world
- A beautiful witch, fighting with guns and magic, emerges
- A town controlled by despair
- The puzzle deepens
- Will mankind fall into ruin...
- Who will survive? The witch or the demons?
Please note though that neither Japanese nor English is my native language, so if anyone has something to add to this, please do.
Ok now I saw the trailer for B*Witched hehe, and I liked the CGI, alot. But I cant wait to see it in gameplay motion to see its gameplay system and graphics on HD quality. I might buy it, who knows. but I am almost sure that Alicia will go to Girls of Gaming.
I think CGI at the moment is a dirty thing - with all the new consoles coming out. We all wanna see which each one can do - I mean look at MGS4. I know, not excatly CGI quality but amazing!!! not to far off aswell.
I personally think the reason why CG cutscenes was used in the first place cause developers wanted better cutscenes for PS1 games. Same for PS2 games. To have outstanding cutscenes that could never be done real time ... But now as consoles get better and better. There should'nt be a need for them :)

Just check out the Alone in the dark trailer, I think game engine cutscenes will become a necessary standard this gen as games get larger and can less afford disk space for cg.
CG-trailers are absolutely worthless... I want to see gameplay and how the game will look when played, not some killzone-trailer-trash. And CG cutscenes within games are unforgivable. I for one dont think its cool when you are playing a game then the cutscene show me a whole different game with much nicer graphics and so on...
I think that CGI cutscenes should be be now and then in a game, kind of like Ninja Gaiden did.
And plus what about if the graphics isnt top notch with the rest of the great graphical games out there? then it need CGI to make the game look good. Games like Gears of War, Too Human, Mass Effect, they dont need any CGI cutscenes because the UE 3 looks gorgeous as it is thats for me its looks almost like a "real-time CG" style.
