love the look of this games visuals, but the turn based combat pretty much kills it for me. hopefully it'll hit PS+ as a freebie just so i can look at it for 5 minutes.

Yea, that's my biggest concern too (not that i'm put off instantly when reading 'turn based combat'), but since it's 2D, i think it can and will be a very limited visual experience (no Ifrit / Shiva / Odin to decend from the skies to kick major butt or cool magic animation stuff where earth opens up to devour the baddies in a giant wave of lava). It has other good game mechanics though. Eagerly awaiting some reviews...

    GriftGFX I tend to play around the 110-120 degree range though.. so something like 70 is pretty jarring anyway. (1 Hour ago)
