Looks fine to me. And while I still play MW2 from time to time, there's no way this is going to compete with the upcoming multiplayer domination that Reach is going to bring.

There's probably more ways to kill people in MW2 that don't require aiming or shooting than any first person shooter I've ever played. But I actually agree, his statement is equally ridiculous, there's obviously a skill curve to every Call of Duty game, despite how transparent that's become against a backdrop of horrible features.
A lot of things that I find odd. The biggest thing is that you can see a person dive roll in the trailer. Now imagine a multiplayer shooter where you could do that. People would spam it all over.
alot of kids on here setting out to post already in the mindset of hating on the game it seems. It's call of duty..what did you expect the multiplayer to be like? Personally i think it looks pretty decent..but then i'm a fan of MW2's multiplayer - accepting it for the mindless fun it offers to kill afew hours on, rather than complaining at the "lack of skill" it takes.
It certainly looks a sight more promising than the MOH multiplayer. And when we're living in a world where 3 below par MW2 maps are valued at a tenner, being offered more of the same with more maps and a single player attached for £35 seems pretty attractive
My personal opinion... Reach Schmeach. I've played COD4 226 days according to my Xbox blog, and MW2, a total of 197 days... Halo 3 a total of 25 days. Nuff Said. I do prefer the gameplay of multiplayer and singleplayer of COD4, over MW2, but in my opinion, it is far from over...
Is Activision exploiting the cash cow they have in COD? Yes, wouldn't you?
MW2 isn't perfect, but there isn't a lot wrong with it. I loved the Co-op... and I like the Perk system... it balances well for me... I play Hardcore TDM, and Search and Destroy Hardcore.
I don't think Black Ops will be at the same level as COD4 or even MW2, but it has my attention, and I'm looking more forward to it than any other Treyarch COD. I think it will be good.
Halo Reach has a lot to prove, Halo3 being a major disappointment... and for those that think the Reach Forge map editor is cool, haven't tried the Far Cry 2 map editor. Good luck to the Halo fans... I hope Bungie goes out with a bang, rather than a wimper. I'll try Reach via gamefly and perhaps even own it, but it will have to prove itself first.

That's what, 5424 hours of Call of Duty 4? 226 days and it's been out for.. 1006 days? You would have had to play it for five hours and forty minutes a day on average, every day since it came out. That must have been especially hard since you also played MW2 for 197 days since it came out 272 days ago. That's Call of Duty for more than 10 hours a day, every day, for the last 1006 days. Either I really messed up the math (I'm not very good at math), you haven't been tracking your game time accurately, or you're like, the most hardcore gamer ever. I thought I played a lot of COD4.. and hell I did.. but that's immense. There's no way I could have played vanilla COD4 (or any game) for that long in the same time span. I hope you mean hours and not days, in which case, I'm not nearly as impressed.
And while the FC2 map editor might be awesome, it's pretty useless because it's stuck in Far Cry 2. The Halo Reach beta was terrific. I personally can't wait to get the retail release.

That's not exactly high praise!
I don't think this looks awful. I mean, I don't think it looks particularly great either, but it should be at least as good as MW2. It's not hard for Treyarch to copy the formula. They did it pretty well in World At War. If you really want more MW2 than I don't see why this wouldn't be for you. I was tempted, briefly, with the promise of dedicated servers returning, but then I remembered how little I played WaW. Without mods and the movement controls stripped away from the franchise in previous titles, I can't say I'll be coming back. I'd still rather play COD4. But saying there's no skill involved is pretty ignorant.
I love it. But i know what many mean with no Skill. Commando Perk and so on. But dont forget that this Video has nothing to do with real Online Gaming. They all act like they should for this vid and sometimes you see that its definitely not real Gaming. Some Enemy's dont shot at the Guy playing even if they stay 3 Feat in front of him (ore back). So this Trailer only shows some new Features and IMO you need as much skill as in any other Shooter. BTW: The Camera is awesome. Just Imagine what Fun you could have with this.
