Plateform-puzzle game Contrast shows how the shift in/out ability works with thie beta gameplay video. This action allows the player the move throughs the shadows of the game's 1920s dreamscape. Developed by indie studio Compulsion Games and expected to release on Steam this Spring.

Been hyped for this for a while, nice to see it's looking great!

Gamespot preview is a good read, too. Influenced by noir and old German expressionism. I really need to watch Cabinet of Dr Caligari and Nosferatu :P

It's on my watch-list too since some weeks. Like the idea of switching into shadows, just hope the gfx/game engine can keep up with the idea. What is it running on btw ? UE3 ?
