Capcom really knows how to produce impressive in-engine cutscenes.

Excluding the 1 frame slideshow of gameplay bits, the cutscenes on the trailer are CG, if i'm not wrong.

Definitely CG.

Is this the game with 'vertical' gameplay, where you can hijack UFOs? I was impressed with what I saw last time.

Yep, that's the one.

And then I saw the same and same gameplay countless of times over and over again.

It seems like one of those good ideas trapped in generic levels/level design and shooting. The same encounter over again.

I still hope for the best, crimson skies was action pumped awesome!

Could be a decent game just like darkSector

Every single video game is CG, even the ones that look like they're hand-drawn :P

It's nothing like Dark Sector. This is a flight game with shooter mechanics. It's by the guys who did Crimson Skies on the original Xbox.

I think he means to say it could be a sleeper of a good game, like Dark Sector, that no one expects.

Seeing as this are the guys behind crimson skies, and Capcom as a publisher, being in the end just a "generic" resident evil 4 clone as Dark Sector was, would be a tad dissapointing.

But for what Dark Sector was, standard fare of copy+paste of successful formulas, it was good fun, nothing really better than the top cats in the industry, but pretty decent.

Well, it's got the word Dark in it...

Crimson Skies was brilliant! Sounds like a good omen to me.

Not bad, now if only they could show me the gameplay with as impressive stuff. :)

Hope this is gonna be a good game. The bits of gameplay i've seen looked decent enough, only it got a bit boring along the way.
And why hasn't anybody picked up the Crimson Skies series? It's one of my favorite games on the xbox. it has a lot of flaws, but it's FUN.

If I recall, the CSkies director bought the rights to the franchise, but after they announced this game.

Not gonna put my word on that, though.
