I'll only start taking this game srsly (or not) after so many years of hiatus, the minute they release some good ol' gameplay footage.

zombies in third pic look unconvincing but apart from that, good :)

Well that light house seems to be in every pic they show so maybe its an important plot? Just speculating to be fair though

its a safe house/base of operations. you bring survivors there in the first mission of the game. in a preview from bout a month ago

Pretty decent for an open-world game, or at least that's what we are told it will be.

^^ open world? now that would make it interesting

an open world zombie game. sounds than RE5 already.

Open-world = bad narrative.

I'm still excited because there aren't many videogames set on a 3D island, and being sandbox. But if it doesn't have a heavy survival aspect (which seems like there could be innovation), I'll be disappointed. Developer walkthrough or bust.

hmmmm the game would have a plus if there was missing body parts like real zombies...they should take notes from old school zombie games like the resident evil 1-3

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I mean they can keep upgrading it but why bother when they have more capable engines already. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I just think it shows its age in a lot of ways in FC5 and they have better tech so they should use it. (5 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth if they still pay royalties to crytech when using it they probably should (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Although I think it's kinda time to retire Dunia. (5 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @HR2: a lot of studios used modified UE3, games like Arkham Knight, XCom2, both being very problematic on pc. Interesting to see what those studios will do for their next games. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @HR2: Ubisoft uses their own engines. They have like.. three solid in house game engines. (5 Hours ago)
  • HR2
HR2 @Melmoth: agreed. speaking of Ubisoft, I wonder which engine they're using for the next Splinter Cell. a heavily modified UE3 like Batman AK or UE4? (5 Hours ago)
