the monsters remind me of creatures in "the thing". Great movie....

The gameplay looked bad ass!

The only thing I don't like about the game right now is the main characters helmet, looks ugly.

Another thing, I hope EA doesn't screw this game over like they did with Army of Two.

Big potential, but feels loose in most of the department.
Hopefully this is the Resident Evil of sci-fi space game...something Dark Sector should have been (damn you Digital Exremes, damn you)

Nice!!!
Cool enemies but overall, awesome blood effect.

the streaming on this site just keeps getting worse and worse. Why can't you guys have a streaming system like gametrailers? :(

Well... interesting. Might get it for PS3, but still not 100% sure about gameplay. There should be a story line and not just killing monsters.

I like where they're going with this. Can't wait to play it. More videos please! :)

Will this game make me buy an EA game finally after 5 years? Maybe so,

There was a large article in a Belgian magazine about this game. The story is the same as Doom 3. Something happened on a space colony and a team of engineers goes out to the colony to repair the damage. Then, because of an accident, you are seperated from your team and have to try to survive the monsters. That's it.
The only interesting thing about the game was, that you have no weapons, but have to use your repair tools (condemned anyone?).
When reading the article, all I could think of was 'Doom in third person'.

Its EA, it'll suck.

His comment at the end "I'd like people to walk away and think that was the scariest game I've ever played".

I should have been, "I'd like people to walk away, and not take the game straight back to the store and trade it in for something that works properly out the box, and is not full of bugs, and the online works properly, and the quality is considerably better, just to leave mountains of our new game piling up in the second hand bargain bin."

I bet they've already planned to release Dead Space 10 down the line, with no new features or improvments.

this could actually turn out good. which is surprising given the people behind it.

Looks so awesome!

Reminds me of other dismemberment games like Dark Sector with its glaive, chopping off body parts and the blood starts to spray out all crazy and Ninja Gaiden 2 :D

Yeah, this looks pretty nice. I'll be sure to try it out once it releases :)
And since you are supposed to be some sort of engineer, i hope there will be some puzzles too ^^

The athmosphere of this game is just so tight. The whole design is cool. Really caches me. Hope the story will get more interesting during the whole game, that's very important for me. If the only goal is to escape and shoot down those creatures, it will get boring very quick...
Wait and see is the divise.
Holy moly, take that away Sath, can't stop looking at it. So great animations, if every opponent is made like that.... WOW!!!!

I still stand by what I said...I hope this is sci-fi space Resident Evil!
And yeah I hope you could do stuff like that to all the enemies, would be very neat.

About the game

What's up?
  • asdfg
asdfg I liked Geoffs speech. For once something actually felt real at the otherwise so corporate TGA. (8 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: as i said, they're friends. not just "we see each other once ever 5 years at an award show" "friends". but actual friends. things were obviously going to be personal. (1 Hour ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: Nothing with calling the company out but we had that last year already. And showing Hideo respect is cool but I thought this was way too much. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog back to geoff though, i honestly appreciated seeing some emotion come from those cold, dead mountain dew sponsored eyes. the guy is a lifeless husk most of the time. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog "Dreamfall Chapters will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One both physically and digitally for $29.99 / €29,99 / £24,99 via publisher Deep Silver on March 24, 2017" finally! (2 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: i think they've been friends for years. when you have a stage, why not use it to call out a company and their BS? (2 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @Tiz: Agreed. (2 Hours ago)
