Deep Silver offers all-terrain arcade racing with altitude in its new multiplatform game

Deep Silver, the games label of Koch Media, a leading producer and distributor of digital entertainment products, today announced the first details regarding its arcade racing game nail'dTM and unveiled a dedicated website at www.naildgame.com.

nail'd is truly a hellish ride. No other racing game has ever featured such differences in altitude! Only those who master daring jumps into unknown depths at ultimate top speeds stand a chance to win the challenging action races in nail'd. Steep slopes, suddenly appearing obstacles and surprising turns in the track demand sharp reflexes, requiring players to give their all. Through its insane bursts of speed, "nail'd" will catapult you from one adrenalin boost to the next.

In a tournament, players will charge through diverse geographical track settings, e.g. between the redwood trees and sheer granite mountain faces of Yosemite National Park.

Players in nail'd get to choose between various vehicle classes, including motorbikes and quads. Once they have picked their wheels, it's time to hit the track and prevail against challenging AI opponents. A compelling soundtrack by well-known bands helps to urge you on to do your very best.

Moreover, a multi-player mode allows you to secure one of the top ranks in the leader boards of global online tournaments.

nail’d, developed by Techland, will be released for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360? video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC. The worldwide launch of nail'd is targeted for the 4th quarter of 2010.

Reminds me of Pure, wich totally rock. Not same developer though. Techland is the guys behind the Call of Juarez games. They've done racing games before though (remember Xpand Rally), so this could turn out nicely.

Well, more fast-paced arcade racing games are welcome, so I'ill keep an eye on this!

This game doesn't look like....oh wait

In other news, off-road racers are getting plenty of dev love these days, let's see 'em do another kind of racing or extreme sport, eh?

Moreover, a multi-player mode allows you to secure one of the top ranks in the leader boards of global online tournaments.
Does this mean no head-to-head on-line racing?

lets hope this succeeds where pure failed....split screen

also, why does xbox 360 have a question mark next to it like they dont know if that's what it's called...hahaha

anyway, it has slipknot for the soundtrack, i'm sold. well, not really, but if it has split screen it's definately looking promising...visually it looks pretty nice.

  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Man DirtyBomb stopwatch is so fun w/ two good teams. The incomplete meta sucks though. (3 Hours ago)
  • PT_G4MER
PT_G4MER for all the galaxy? I very much doubt that. They're very talented but I don't think they'll work years on end and then just add stuff for free. (7 Hours ago)
  • PT_G4MER
PT_G4MER Sure, they'll make a couple os systems fully explorable. If they have 4 or 5 different space stations right now, how are they going to do all that stuff? (7 Hours ago)
  • PT_G4MER
PT_G4MER @KORNdog: you don't seem to comprehend the complexity of it. You just can't make planets explorable without adding new gravity, aerodynamics(which the ships don't need in zero gravity) and other stuff (7 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog Ok. Tons of typos. Its 3am...Definitely time for bed. (7 Hours ago)

KORNdog @PT_G4MER: i'll takes the fevelopers plans over what you think is or isn't possible thank you very much :P (7 Hours ago)
  • PT_G4MER
PT_G4MER which I'm still doubtful because of the game's complexity. (7 Hours ago)
